2019 Words

Paul stepped into the back room of the quiet pub. A mix of nerves and excitement washed over him. The room was dimly lit, with a few strategically placed spotlights highlighting the small stage at one end of the room where the instructors were setting up for the dance class. Old posters of swing bands from the 1940s adorned the walls, each one showing the bands in their heyday and evoking a sense of nostalgia for a bygone era. It would be a brilliant spot for his band to perform one day. The wooden dance floor in the centre of the room shone under the soft glow of the lights.
