The lost fairy

The sky was grey, filled with smoke and screams coming from the people stuck in their houses in the kingdom. The sun was down and so was their hope for safety. The only light came from the burning houses. It was only a matter of time until Drera and her servants killed every single citizen. A strange young man around the age of twenty came rushing in through the front gate of the castle riding a black horse. He was dressed in black with a dark red cloak holding a sharp sword. The name of the sword could be seen on the sword- Elysian Destiny. On his waist was a belt full of weapons and god knows what and in his pockets- a book. He took a quick glance around the demolished place and his vision went straight for the small house in the middle. Swiftly he went there and called out, but when he did not hear any sound from the house, he was disappointed. Still, he decided to break the stuck door. He took out a book from pocket and read out some words. While he was doing weird movements with his hands, slowly a sign appeared on the door. It started glowing then it made a loud noise and it cracked open. Inside was a woman. The woman was badly hurt, her leg was broken and she had brunt marks all over her arms as well as blood pouring out of her. When he looked at her, he could see that she was still pretty with the hair of an angel and the eyes of a mermaid. She had something in the back. White wings, almost transparent wrapped around something which was apparently a crying baby. The man could see she was a fairy. "Please take her" she said with little strength. "And take good care of her". Then she turned to the baby and kissed it on her forehead.  The wooden roof started falling and the flames were getting bigger, while the man was trying to help the woman. Realizing he could not help the woman, he quickly took the baby and whispered to the woman's ear "Thank you for taking care of her". Quickly, he put the baby on the horse and hurried through the gate straight to the forest.   Meanwhile the king was trying to protect the people of the castle. As he was fighting, he saw the commander and ran to the sewers along with him. The only light in the sewers was the lantern that lit the commander.  "My king she is on her way to the cottage as we speak. She is in good hands, Melior is my most loyal servant." said the commander as they waited in the sewers for the people to escape. Both, the commander and the king were wearing heavy gold armor. In the left hand they had a dark blue shield and in their right hand an almost broken iron sword. Their faces were full of bruises and blood was dripping down from the sword from the war.  "I hope so old friend,I hope so.Whatever happ..." the king suddenly froze. His mouth went shut and his eyes wide.  "What is it Siltral?" The commander asked worryingly.  "Drera is here" the king said "I can feel her presence". Suddenly the lantern got put out and the sewer filled with darkness. The air got heavy as they were trying hard to breathe. "GUARDS!" screamed the king.  "It is of no use coward" An evil voice remarks "They are all dead".  A figure emerged from the shadows- the witch. Her menacing presence fills the room. He could not see anything in plain darkness but he could hear her loud footsteps getting closer and closer until they stopped. First she had a long cloak with a hood covering her whole body. As she approached she took it off. He could see her face now. A tall woman with blood dripping from her leather gloves.  Dressed in all leather black with high heels and a skirt. On the side of her skirt was a spell book attached to a belt and what looked like rings. In her hand she held out a long slim wand with the head of a snake. Her hair was short and red. He noticed the big scar on her face going right through the eye. Through her sour smile he could see the big teeth looking like a vampire's and a long tongue. "I will ask only once where is the baby, tell me and i might just kill you quickly!" said the witch as she pulled out her daggers from her belt. "You are mistaken if you think you will leave this room!" The king said as he took a defensive stance. Next to him the commander took out his blade and followed his movements. "Well then, I guess i will have to do this the hard way". said the witch as she put the daggers through her fingers. She spoke out some words and the daggers flew in the air right towards the king and the commander. Luckily, the dodged and merged right at the witch. Before they even got to her she cast another spell and there was an invisible s***h. The king and the commander fell on the ground and from the king's body there was a dim light. As the light faded, the witch turned the opposite way and told her servants find the baby in the city. She went to the surface and saw the house with the dying fairy where the baby was.  She went right at her and asked "Where is the baby?" but there was no reply back. That made her angry and she cast another spell, this time a tracking spell. The shadows of the footsteps of the baby and the man were shown and she started following them. After a while the man could feel her and swiftly he got up from the tree he was sitting under with the baby and started casting a spell. The witch was getting closer and closer and then she saw him. "GIVE HER TO ME" she screamed as she threw a blade at the man, Right before it hit, the man finished the spell- it was a portal. He went straight in the portal and the dagger missed. In just a flash of light and the man and the baby dissapeared into thin air.  "You can run, but you can't hide" the angry witch said. "I will find you Arryn and i will take my revenge. Asya will die". As she heard her name, Asya woke up terrified.
