Chapter 16Frank put aside the report he’d been reading. As soon as everyone had returned to the compound, divers had been dispatched to assess the damage caused by the explosion. The initial report on the state of the catacombs hadn’t been completely negative, which was a relief. Some areas actually remained intact, but it would take several hours for divers to clear the fallen rocks blocking deeper access. They’d received regular updates about the divers, who were working in teams moving rocks to clear a passageway wide enough to swim through, but it was slow, painful progress.
