Beta Core pov

I couldn't help but watch her ass while she was walking. She walked like she was in a hurry at first. And then suddenly she slowed down. When we were far from the human cops she stopped and turned

"Are you going to tell me why you are following me and why you are trying to cover your scent up. That crap doesn't work on me mate. Who are you? and why are you following me?" I was a little shocked because I was so busy watching her ass I didn't realize I was that close to her. I took a few steps back so I could have some breathing room

"Oh honey, please run. Then the guards will have something to chase and kill. You're in my town now. You go by our rules." I looked at her like she was out of her head at the moment. Why the hell would I run? Oh ok I get it I took. A few steps back so she thought I was going to turn and run. Hmm no. I wasn't going to do that, I was only taken a few steps back so I could have some breathing room that's all.

"I don't plan to run away. I was following you, is there some place we could talk? It's important. It's about the girl you have been looking for."

I saw two huge men coming our way, in front was one very tall, muscular angry looking man. That was looking right at me, when they were close enough to stand in front of my mate. It took all I had to hold my wolf at bay, he wanted to come out and rip them apart. But something tells me that wasn't a very good idea. The tall one stood right in front of me,

"Who are you? And why are you trying to hide your scent from my sister?" I had to look up to the man that was talking to me. He was about 6.2 and I was only 5.8. I was tall but not that tall.

"Listen, can we get the hell out of this airport. We can go anywhere. I just don't want to be standing here while I tell you what I know." he looks back at the guards and each one stood by my side.

"Follow us. If you do try to run I will kill you, is that clear?" I could only nod and for the first time ever my wolf whispered all he wanted was to be near his mate. All I wanted was to not die. And once the alpha finds out I reject him and left the pack. He will stop at nothing to find me and kill me. So here we are walking out of the airport, they pushed me toward a huge black Suv. I stepped into it and sat down with guards, my mate and the guy that let out a very powerful aura.i was the only one sitting by myself the others were sitting in the other seats. I swear I felt like I was in the mafia and I was about to tell the head boss what went down.

"Alright, talk and this better be good. My mate had said.

"Alright. We knew that you was in Mississippi the time you landed. Everyone was talking about a new wolf in town. You were followed the minute you stepped off the airplane and followed when you left the airport, we knew what hotel you was at. At all times. And what orphanages you were going to. We didn't know what you was doing at first, until one of the spies went to one and ordered the man to tell him what you were doing here. When the alpha found out he started following you. You see we attacked her pack and killed her family and what we didn't kill they ran and hid. I never agreed to do that. I am the beta. I am the one that should correct him and tell him it's a bad idea. But once I did he almost killed me. He even had a mate and she ended up dead. You see her father promised her to him to be his breeder. He only promised that so he would let her father live. But he ended up killing him anyway. When he told me to follow you mate. I knew of three things, maybe more but who's counting. I knew I was going to reject him as my alpha. I was going to denounce the pack and me being beta and I was going to try to find out who you were and claim you as my mate. If you will have me.

Tabby pov

Was this guy for real? He had attacked this girls pack and now he is here to claim me for his mate. I was shaking my head at him. He must be crazy. I had an idea.

"If you plan on rejecting him at your alpha and denouncing yourself as beta and rejecting the pack. Do it now. In front of us. He nods and does what I asked of him.

"I Core Augusta rejects you alpha Nile bass as my alpha I reject the black moon pack and I denounce me of being beta to the pack and the alpha." I knew he was feeling pain right now. I could see it in his face and eyes. But he was strong. I was impressed. Now if he will keep his word and not go back on his word.

"So what happened to her pack? I want to know why that alpha decided he wanted to destroy a family." Erick had asked him.

"sir Niles pack is the biggest and strongest pack in Mississippi. He will go after anyone that he thinks is a threat to him. He destroys and kills that's all he does. His father never taught him this. His father taught him to love and take care of his pack. And family but once his father died. It was all over. He changed and all he is, is power hungry. He will stop at nothing to get what he wants sir."

"How old was she when her father took her to safety?"

"That, I do not know. I didn't even see her. I was watching the slaughter that he was causing. I only saw when he came back and Nile killed him after he promised her."

"Did she see any of this?"

"I think so. I think she saw very little before her father ran with her. She was too young to understand what was going on and too young to understand what happened to her parents."

"So years go by and she is thinking that her parents just dropped her off and left her. Do you have any idea how that made her feel?"

"Yes sir I do. My parents abandoned me when I was young. I was only three when they left me alone, it was Niles' father that found me and gave me to a couple that couldn't have any pups."

We all nod at him. Before I spoke.

"Before I take you as my mate. You will have to prove to me that you are not here to hurt her. She is like a sister to me. And if you try in any way to hurt her. I will kill you myself. Is that clear.we are almost to my home. What I need you to do is tell her what you told me. I want her to know that her parents did not abandon her."

"I will do it. I was hoping she got away and not perished like her family and pack did. Once the rest of her pack knows she's alive they will come to her and she is the rightful alpha to the Evergreen wolf pack." I could only think what this poor girl was going to think. Or do once this man tells her what she probably blocked out of her head no little girl or child should ever go through this. No child should ever think that her parents abandon them. The Suv stopped at the hotel, the driver parked the car and we got out. I was dreading this. But this had to be done. I sighed as we walked into the hotel lobby and there she was sweeping and mopping the floor. Her back was toward us. When we walked inside she stopped and sniffed the air. She turned to look at my brother. She whispered. "It's you" he nodded and walked over to her.

"Honey. Now is not the time. Right now you're going to go through something. Just know we are all here for you." she looked so confused and then she sniffed once more she looked over at my mate. And she said in a rage.

"Why are you here? Haven't you done enough?"

Mollie pov.

I was in the middle of sweeping the lobby. When I heard the door chime, I was thinking that someone else was dirtying the damn floor.I wasn't in the mood. All I could think about was the guy that called me his mate. I have not seen him since. But when the door open .y wolf was going nuts. Mate mate our mate is here, I sniffed the air. I slowly turned around and there he was. Holy s**t he is more sexg now then he was in the club. When he told me it wasn't the time I wondered what he meant. Until I saw the guy beside Tabby. Then everything started to come back. The day my whole family got killed. My dad didn't know that I got out of the woman's arms and saw that son of a b***h kill my father. And this man just stood there watching.

"What the hell do you want? Haven't you caused enough damage? You destroyed my pack, you stood and watched your alpha kill my family, what? Why did you come here? Did you come to kill me too? I'm not three years old anymore, before you get to me. I will have your head on this f*****g broom stick."

He had everyone else fooled but he didn't have me fooled. I saw the hate in his eyes for me. I saw that he wanted me dead. I watched as he held his hands in the air like all he wanted was peace. My wolf Nicole was growling.

"He lies. He didn't reject his pack and alpha the right way, he has to spill blood he is the beta."

"I know Nicole. Let him take a few steps more and ill finish him off, I will no longer run from this crazy man."

"Listen, I don't want to hurt you." He whispered the last words.

"But if you do not come with me now. I'll kill you and your mate. You know I will bitch." that set me off. I took the end of the broom handle and snapped it in half. Then stabbed him right between the eyes. He fell forward with the brrom in his head. When the part of the broom hit the floor. It went right out of his head. He was dead.

"Guards. Take this piece of s**t out of here and throw him in the middle of the woods so the animals can eat. Erick had said. He walked over and held me in his arms we both inhaled each others scent. When I felt like I was calmed. I looked over at Tabby.

"Tabby, I'm sorry that I killed your mate." I heard her laugh.

"It's not like we mated and marked each other I was planning on rejecting him and killing him myself. He wasn't my true mate Mollie. I could feel that he wasn't, so I'm okay." I nodded and looked over at my mate.

Erick pov

I was holding her until she felt calm. My wife was wanting me to Mark her. But I told him I couldn't bot until she was ready to be marked. She she told Tabby she was sorry for killing her mate. She looked up at me. I knew I was in for it now.

"So, what is your excise? You called me your name and then walked away. That was not fair. What scent was you wearing to make me think we weren't mates? Because I didn't think we were. Not until now. How come I could smell you now?* I couldn't help but smile down at her. She was ruthless and feisty I like that.

"I didn't want anyone to know whoni was when I went out. All I wanted to do was just relax and have fun at the club. But once when you came into the club. All I could do was watch you and make sure you was okay. I was trying to wait until the party so we could get to know each other before you found out what I truly am."

"Well, what are you. Are you bigfoot?" laughing I held her close kissing her on the top of the head and looked right in her eyes. I am the king of werewolves."

"okay and. What am I suppose to bow down to you now. You want me to kiss your ring or something?" laughing again I was shaking me head.

"Hmmm no. And I don't wear rings so no kissing my hand either. And I'm rather for you not to bow to me since you are my queen. You see I made it so everyone would wear mask. So I could come up to you and get to know you. I wanted a mate that wouldn't care if I was king or not. I don't want a power hungry b***h that all she wants is to rule in the castle and take control. I wanted someone to rule beside me."

"Wait you have a castle? Come on really. Are you pulling my leg here. Is this some kind of prank?" I couldn't help but chuckle. I knew I was going to like this girl right away.

"Yeah I'm for real and this isn't a prank. If you want. We can go right now."

"I swear if you are pranking me and you take me to this run down shed or something. I'm going to take a tree branch and shove it up your ass." I couldn't help but laugh when she said that. How could a tree branch never mind. I don't want to know.

"Tabby, I'll have her back here in the morning. I'm going to take her to the castle."

"Cool. Oh Mollie, I'm sorry I went to your hometown to find out about a few things, I was told to give you these. One is from your parents the other is from the orphanage," she gave the letters to Mollie. And we left. I really hope what's in those letters won't upset her. But I knew she needed to read them. We left the lobby and headed outside to get into my suv.

Mollie pov

When this crazy insane man told me he was king of wolves and even had his own castle I really thought he was full of himself. Yeah he was sexy as heck and all I wanted to do was run my fingers down his chest toward his abs but I really think he is just full of it, while I was in the car driving down the highway. I looked at the letters that were in my hand, and I decided to read one of them for right now. I opened the letter and begin to read it,

Dear Mollie. .

My guess is you are safe and they have not found you, I hope they do not. I wanted you to know when your father put you in my arms telling me to keep you safe. That's what I did for all these years is to keep you safe, I watched you do your first shift when you were such a young child with no one to help. I watched as you grew up wishing that your parents were here to see how you grew up to be such a beautiful woman. I miss you every single day. But I'm glad you never came back. The man that is looking for you wants you as his breeder, if you ever get out of this town. Stay out. He finds out you are still alive, he will stop at nothing to find you and take you as his. He's an evil man Mollie. So whatever you do. Please do not come back, I'm trying to keep you safe at a distance. But if anything was to happen to me. Tears were running down my face. I knew who she was. Her name was Nelly, she was a wonderful lady, she always took care of me and helped me as much as she could. I know you might not be so little anymore, I know you have grown up to be a beautiful young lady. If you are reading this, that means we are not around anymore. The day I wrote this letter I knew something was so deeply wrong. It was real quiet and I didn't even hear a peep from birds. I knew it was going to be a day that we were no more. But I wanted you to know that your father and I loved you so very much. I'm sorry we could not protect you the way we should have. But listen. There is a bank account with your name on it. We did that the day we knew you were inside of me. Here are the numbers: this money will keep you well fed and do whatever you want to do for the rest of your life. When you go to the bank they will hand you a key. There is a box you should open. It has passports and Ids if you need to run then run as far away as you so desire. Each bank has the key and a box. Be safe my dear love. We will always love you honey. I couldn't believe this. My mother knew something was going to happen. She just didn't know what it was. They prepared everything for me. The day she found out she was pregnant. I knew I looked like my mother, just by looking at the photo that was in my hands. I folded the letter back up and sat there, I didn't know what to think or do now. All I knew was I needed to hide these letters but for right now I put them in my back pocket until I get back home. The car slowed down as the gates opened up. I didn't even pay attention that we were already here. We drove through the gates. I was really prepared to see a run down broken shed. We drove for ten more minutes passing a lot of trees and people that was walking or shopping. Then we suddenly stopped in a drive way. I wasn't prepared to see what I saw. I had to raise my head up to see the most beautiful castle I had ever saw. My mouth fell open. I heard gum softly chuckle. .
