Chapter 3

King Erick pov

I knew right when she walked in my office what she wanted. I could tell by the way she was dressed. My mouth dropped open when she came into the room. I knew I shouldn't had f****d her but damn could you blame me. The girl was half naked when she came into my office. I didn't like it when she called me big daddy. That was pretty weird.

"you dumb ass. Stop f*****g her. Everyone already thinks she's your mate. And she's not saying she not. Look how she dresses, Our mate would never dress like that,"

I knew my wolf Axel was right. I knew I needed to stop this. If I find my mate at the ball. How in the hell am I going to explain this to her.

"Easy. You're a man w***e. And will f**k anything that will open their legs. I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't reject us on the lot."

I knew he was pissed. He did not like her at all. The only thing she's good for is a good lay, she's a good warrior. I think I will need to keep her busy until the mating ball. Goddess I hate those things. She wolf's always throwing themselves at me. When will it end? I don't mind it but I have three years to find my mate. And I plan on finding her at the party. Even if I have to take a chosen mate. And it won't be trina. I know one of the warriors, Katy. She was a tough b***h and she knows how to train the warriors right.

'Hey Katy. Come here for a second. I need to talk to you in my office."

she looked at me with an eyebrow raised. I walked into my office to wait for her. A few seconds later she walked inside and a stood by the door with her arms crossed.

"Calm down Katy, you're not in trouble. I need you to do me a while favor"

"And what favor could that be? King Erick." it better not be anything stupid like last time."

I couldn't help but chuckle the last time I asked fir a favor. It was a prank. I had her out in the woods looking for some kind of animal that was not real. That's what she got for playing a prank on me. So I got her back.

"It's nothing like that. I need you to keep Trina busy until the party. I want her to be so tired. She will not even think about bothering me, I don't have time for that tramp anymore. I need to look for my mate."

"Are you f*****g kidding me Erick!! This b***h thinks she knows everything about being a warrior. She doesn't know jack s**t. She knows how to throw a punch and a kick. She doesn't know how to do anything else but that s**t and to complain about training being too long."

'Well train her better. Make it known to her. If she does not train then she is off the warrior team. And you will get someone else better. You have my permission Katy. Don't let her get to you. Train that b***h so hard that she won't have time to do anything else. I want her so worn out that she would think twice to f**k with me."

I saw her smirk. At me and I laughed. I knew what she was going to do. She will make all the warriors do the same thing that Trina will be doing. And that's good. They will be stronger and more powerful.

"if that's what you want me to do. Then it will be done. But if anyone complains, what should I tell them?"

"Tell them that the king wants them to do extra training. I ordered the training."

"Alright, then it shall be done sir, " she saluted and left my office. This has got to work, or this girl is going to make me banish her from the castle.

Katy pov.

I was just coming into the castle. I just wanted to shower and relax today. Today there was no training. I just went for a run so I could let my wolf out. I was walking back inside when Eric called me into his office. He gave me permission to train the warriors harder. I knew why. He didn't want Trina bothering him anymore. I knew I needed to find a dress for the party. But damn, we go to plenty of these things and my mate is never there. Maybe he isn't born yet. Maybe he's in another country. Or worse maybe he is just dead. But I'll go to this one and if I don't find a mate then I'm not going back. I get so bored that I even try to get drunk. You see werewolves can drink and drink and sometimes only catch a buzz. But if you mix wolvesbayne in your drink. Then you better hold on to something because you will get drunk after the third swallow. But you must always be careful. Too much can kill us, I went to to shower and relax, but Trina caught me by surprise. She pushed me in the room and demanded to know why Eric wanted me in his office.

"b***h please. He wanted me to give you warriors training. What the f**k is wrong with you? You got a huge problem girl. The next time you push me in my own f*****g room. I will kick your f*****g ass is that clear?"

"I was wondering why my man wanted you in his office, that's all."

"First off. He is not your man. And if he was. How come he hasn't marked you yet? Get over yourself Trina. And make sure you have your ass out there in the morning. I'll kick your ass out of the warrior team."

"But you can't do that!"

"Oh sweetheart. But I can. I am the head warrior in charge. I can make you stand on one leg if I wanted to. I suggest you be out there at six am sharp. Or you will find out what I can do."

Trina tossed her blonde hair over her shoulder and left. I rolled my eyes. Can I now shower and relax? Or is there any other drama coming my way, I hurried to shower, dried off and put on shorts and a t-shirt. I sat at my desk and powered up my computer. I just wanted to sit back and relax. When the computer booted up. I wrote a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a long time. I knew he had shifted and now looking for his mate. Makes me wonder if he found her. He wrote me back right away. He told me he hadn't found his mate. And he's looking forward to the party. That both of us will probably find our mates there. I wrote him back and told him. If I don't find me mate then it will be the last one I go to. And I will see him there n a few more weeks. I knew we had a fling many years ago. We made out and it really got heavy. Could you blame me he had shoulder length brown hair. He sometimes wore it in a pony tail. Green eyes and a body that any girl would fight over. We got together and dated for awhile. One night we where up in my room and it got hot in heavy. We ended up having s*x. And trust me it was hot and heavy and sweaty. After that day.. We done it a few more times and decided that we should stop we needed to wait for our mates. It's been over twenty years now. And still no mate. So if i don't find him then. I won't he going to another. And I will be fine with that. I didn't see the email when he emailed me back telling me of he doesn't find her he wanted me as his chosen mate. I didn't even know he emailed me back. I shut the computer off and laid in bed to read. I should had read it I should had told him he should look for her. But I didn't.

Eric pov

I headed to the hotel to talk to my cousin Tabby to see how the new wolf was doing. Did she think she was a rogue or was she just a lone wolf. When I got to the hotel I walked into the lobby I saw a few she wolves standing behind the desk. They bowed their heads out of respect. But they knew not to call me King Eric out in public due to humans coming to stay in the hotel as well.

"Hey girls. Where is my cousin Tabby at? Is she somewhere causing trouble?"

"No, I'm.not causing any trouble. Not yet anyways. What are you doing here Eric. I thought you had a meeting with an alpha?"

I knew I couldn't lie to her. She was more like my sister then anything else.

"No. That was just an excuse to come here to see how the lone wolf is doing. Is she fitting in on the land? I would like to meet her."

"Yeah she's doing great. But I'm not sure she's home right now. She called me. Told me she was heading to a shop to buy a computer. So she will probably be late coming back home. Besides I'm not her babysitter. She can come and go as she pleases"

"Well, lets go look in the cabin. I just want to make sure for myself. I just want to make sure she isn't causing any trouble. Or spying for someone else."

Tabby nodded. She knew it was a good idea. But I also knew she didn't like going through someone else's things. We made it to her cabin. She unlocked the door and we went inside. The first thing I saw was photos of the lone wolf. She was very beautiful with her hair in a messy bun with very little make up. She had curly red hair and green eyes. My wolf was doing a wolf call. I rolled my eyes.

"Calm down, we are only here on business not pleasure."

he kept pacing back in forth. I'll talk to him once we are back home. I don't have time for this. We looked all around even in her dressers and walk in closet. Bathroom underneath the couches. Behind photos, and under the carpet. There was nothing. She barely had anything but clothes. I'll need to remember to give tabby my card so she could take this wolf shopping for more then she actually has. We made sure nothing was out of place before leaving, we shut and locked the door. I knew I smelled a scent of pine and sunflowers. But I was ignoring it. I won't be sure until the party so I'm not even going to bother with it.

"Alright. Well she's clean. Have her come to the party. Make sure she has a mask and wears it." that party I will either find my mate. Or pick a chosen mate."

"Erick, I feel sorry for anyone you pick. They will have there hands full with you."

I smirked knowing she was right.

Well Tabby, I'm heading back home. Just make sure your there as well. You might find yours."

…"of course I'll be there. It's my damn hotel. Go home Erick. "

I couldn't help but chuckle at her. I gave her a hug and went out the door. I got into my truck and headed home. I couldn't help but think about this new wolf. Could she really be my mate? I was more shocked than my wolf was. But I Won't be sure until the night of the party, maybe we can do a contract. I could choose her to be my mate.

Tabby pov

What was with him wanting to go into her home and look around. I have already done that. And I found nothing. She wasn't a spy. She just ran from her ex boyfriend that cheated on her. It's the rogues you always have to worry about. They are sneaky and they smell like spoiled milk and skunk. If you ever ran over a skunk you would know what I am talking about, I wasn't really sure where Mollie went. She called me and told me she was heading into town she wanted to buy a new phone and a computer. She's been gone since this morning. I wasn't sure if she was hurt. Or just wanted to hang out. I should had went with her, but she has to learn her way around some how right. I went back inside the hotel to see how the girls were doing. There were three people that signed inn and got rooms.i took a sniff they weren't wolvs there human so we have to make sure not to wolf out or growl. They might freak out. That reminds me, I need to find a mask for the party and let the girls know to find one as well.

Kitty, Jessie. You both need to find mask for the party. Eric will be looking for a mate, He doesn't want anyone to know who he is so buckle up and find a mask with your dresses and make sure it matches the dress." they book looked up surprised. They knew how Erick was. He never wanted a mate before. Time must be running out. The Elders will only come when or if he didn't find a mate. I don't see how they could be in control. When he is the one that is the king of werewolves.

"I had heard about the mask thing. I got one off line. It should be here in a few days. Hopefully my dress will be here at the same time."

"Kitty, you should know you need to try on the dress before you buy it. Remember last time. The thing was skin tight and you couldn't even put it on it was to damn right." Jessie has said.

"Yeah I know. But I bought it two sizes over that I got last time. So fingers crossed. If it doesn't fit then I won't buy any clothing off line again. Just the jewelry,"

Jessie only shook her head knowing that her sister would keep doing the same thing. You never know she might get lucky on the dress this time. They heard the door open and saw Mollie walk inside with about five huge bags of items. She sat them down in a chair,

"Hey girls. I just wanted to come by and let you know I was back. I bought a few things. So I'm going to head home now. Oh and this bags is for y'all. It's a thank you for letting me stay here and work." she left the bags on the chair while she took the others and headed to her house. I walked over and opened the bag. My eyes wide open. When I said "holy shit." There in the bag was designer bags. For each of us, shirts and jeans, I looked at the corner of my eye and realised she left another bag. I opened it. And saw it was shoe boxes. Now how did she know what size we wore. I opened the boxes. And there were highhill shoes that matched the jeans and shirts. Damn was this girl loaded. And just wanted to work. Well that's none of my business. Maybe she knocked over a bank or two while she was out. I'll have to watch the news tonight to see if I hear anything. Until then I think I'm in love with this bag and heels. I handed the girls there things with their heels. They said the same thing. Was this girl loaded or did she rob some stores while she was out.
