Chapter 4

Mollie pov

While I was out. I just wanted to relax. First I went to see a movie. I wasn't in a hurry to get back. So I took my time. After the movie I decided I wanted to go computer shopping. I walked into a shop that sold computers, once I was in the store I saw some of the employees turn to look at me. I wasn't sure if I was very welcome in that store. But once I was in the store I started walking around to see what I truly wanted. The manager came out and welcomed me.

"Hello, I am the manager, how can I help you today. I'm sorry about the others. They thought you were a rogue. Your new to blue field. Aren't you?"

I sighed thinking here we go. I slowly turned holding a controller in my hand I was thinking about buying a game system as well. I placed it back on it's hook.

"Yea sir I am new. I work for Tabby in her hotel. I'm not here to cause any trouble. I'm just here to find a computer and a phone. I'm about to cut off the old one, so I want to get a new phone before I do that."

he nods. And smiles.

"Well my name is Chad. And that woman over there behind the desk is my mate. Her name is Amber. If you have any questions just ask me or her."

"Thank you I sure will."

he walked away and I started to look once again. In the end I bought a laptop. A tablet with a keyboard and a phone. With a Nintendo Wii. After I paid for my items I walked to the car and put the items in my jeep. Then I went to the clothing store. I decided I wanted to thank Tabby and the girls for making me feel welcome so I bought them a few things. Then I bought a few more items. I think I shopped til I dropped. When I made it home. I took them there things. And left. When I stepped into.my home. My Wolf Nicole was going crazy and I swore I was smelling something mouth watering. I was smelling something like the woods and strawberries with cream. I could tell it was a male wolf and he was very powerful. Why was he here and what was he looking for. I had nothing to hide. I had everything out in the open even my little safe that was sitting on the coffee table. But it didn't look like it had been moved. I walked from room to room to see if anything had been taken or moved. But nothing had been take or moved. I was walking back into the living room when there was a knock on the door. I hurried to answer it.

I opened the door and it was Tabby. I moved so she could come inside.

"Tabby, did you know someone was in my house?"

I heard her sigh before she began.

"Yes I knew, but before you get upset. I had to let him inside. You see. He's the king of wolves. And he knows about you. He just needed to know if you were a spy or just wanted to come and start trouble. So he took a look around and found nothing. He didn't mean any harm. I'm truly sorry honey. But I couldn't say no."

I couldn't believe this. I hated it when someone was being nosey and wanted to mind my business. Who does he think he is. I don't care if he was the kind of spades he has no right to be in my home snopping around my stuff. I took a deep breath. Turned to look at my friend and boss.

"I understand that this is his town. But this is my home. In these are my things and I do not like it when someone comes into.my home and snoops around. I am not hiding anything. What I have is out in the open for anyone to see. Next time I want to be home when he comes. I have a thing or two to say to him."

I saw her widen her eyes I bet she wants me out now. If that is the case. I'll pack my s**t and leave. And head to another town. I really do not care at the moment.

Tabby pov

After I put my things away I decided to go over to thank Mollie. But when I knocked on her door. I felt something that was off. When she opened the door I saw the look on her face. Like she knew someone was in her house. So she told me she felt that someone was inside her home. So I had to tell her.

Yes I knew, but before you get upset. I had to let him inside. You see. He's the king of wolves. And he knows about you. He just needed to know if you was a spy or just wanted to come and start trouble. So he took a look around and found nothing. He didn't mean any harm. I'm truly sorry honey. But I couldn't say no." I could tell she was pissed off. When she said what she said.

"I understand that this is his town. But this is my home. And these are my things, I do not like it when someone comes into my home and snoops around. I am not hiding anything. What I have is out in the open for anyone to see. Next time I want to be home when he comes. I have a thing or two to say to him."

my eyes widen when I saw the anger in her eyes and heard it in her voice. I felt a power come from her like there was a alpha power about her, I need to find out about her. I wonder if the place she had lived for eighteen years has paper work on her. Because what I wanted was to bare my neck and submit to her. But I fault it. She wasn't my alpha. So I stood tall and I understood where she was coming from. I was just glad she didn't know I snopped around her place as well. I just needed to know who she was. But I didn't find anything. Things are really weird with her. I need to find out where she really came from so I can know what to do with this.

"Mollie. I'm truly sorry if your upset about him coming into your home. He just needed to know if you was a rogue but he knows your not."

"What the hell is a rogue? what ever that is I'm not."

"A rogue is a wolf that goes by no rules they take no baths. And takes what it wants. They smell of spoiled milk and skunk sometimes they smell of blood and rotten eggs. They are very dangerous and all they want to do is kill and destroy or take over packs. Sometimes they try and take women for there own pleasure. But they get killed before that happens,"

"Well I can assure you I am.no rogue. I work for what I want. And I do not destroy anything or take over packs. So he can be reassured about that." I couldn't help but laugh.

"Don't worry. You will be able to tell him this at the party. He wants everyone to wear a mask because he will be looking for his mate. He doesn't want anyone to know who he is until he gets to know the woman. He wants to make sure that she is with the right mate or she is just after the crown."

"Hmm sure, I have plenty of those. I'll make sure it matches my dress, but I'm sure I am not his mate. I'm just a lone wolf that wants to be left alone. But I'll go to the party. It might be fun."

"there loads of fun. Dancing, drinking and lots of get togethers. I'll leave you be I just came over to say thank you for the clothes and shoes. I need to head home. Just remember to be at the hotel at seven am so we can start the walk about to show you around."

she left and I went to take a shower. I just need to clean up and go to sleep. It's late and I was tired. I needed to get up in the morning to show Mollie around the hotel and to show her the floor she will be cleaning. I'm thinking of having the girls clean because they're better at that then the desk work. They like the outside more than the inside, so I'll just let them know and I'll have Mollie do the desk work. And the lobby cleaning. That will keep her busy.

Erick pov

I couldn't get the newcomer out of my head. The way that scent was in her house and my wolf was going crazy about it. I had to shove it away until the party. I wasn't even sure what her name was. Did I even ask Tabby? I sat in my office drinking whisky when Trina walked into my office, she had a bottle of whisky in her hand and I could tell she was a little drunk, she reached to lock the door then walked over to sit on my lap. I rolled my eyes. I knew what she was wanting. And we'll why not. I wasn't sure if that girl was truly my mate, who the hell was I kidding I knew she was, I just want to make sure just in case. I knew what Trina wanted. She wanted to be queen and hell with anything else, she was good in bed that's about it. She knew nothing about caring for others, and helping the ones that need help. I don't need someone like her. I watched when she put the bottle to her lips to drink her whisky. She turned to kiss me with her liquor breath. My wolf growled at her, I leaned back not wanting to kiss her. I had made up my mind. I stood up from my chair so suddenly that it made her fall on the floor with a loud thump. She grabbed the desk to get up.

"Really Erick, you made me fall on the f*****g floor."

"I wouldn't have to if you weren't sitting on my lap. What are you doing in my office, Trina? Don't you need rest for training tomorrow morning?"

"What? That? I thought she was joking. She knows I'll be queen soon so she knows not to push me." I was so fed up with her bull$hit I think I'm going to have to make this really clear to her. In a not so nice kind of way. So I linked my second right hand man Johnson, I told him to come and knock on my door now so I can get this b***h out of my office,

"Listen Trina. I'm going to make this clear so you can understand the words that's coming out of my mouth. Okay, I do not want to be with you. You will never be queen. You will never rule in this castle. Go find your mate because I am not that person for you."

Just then he came knocking on the door. Walking over to it I unlocked it then opened the door, Johnson was standing there with a smirk on his face. He already knew what was going on. And he saw that I was very annoyed by this girl.

"Johnson please take Trina to her room so she can sleep this s**t off and train tomorrow. And Trina, if you're not outside in the am for training. Consider yourself a cleaner. You will be cleaning bedrooms for the rest of your life."

she huffed and walked out of the room. Johnson stood there laughing. Knowing full well she was cursing me all the way to her bedroom.

"Man, I feel sorry for her mate. She's a firecracker waiting to explode"

"Well, let her explode on him. I want no part of it. I. Sick of her telling others that she is soon to be queen, there is no way she will ever wear that crown on her head.

Trina pov.

I just had to do it. I had to test him and find out if he would just f**k me. I was ready for it too. I knew I needed to find my mate. But if I could just get him to mark me then I am inside for good. I grabbed a bottle of whisky out of my room and headed toward his office. I walked inside locking the door then sat in his lap. Drinking from the bottle I reached over to kiss him when he suddenly stood up making me fall on the floor. Trust me I wanted to laugh. But I held it back. He told me what I already knew. I would never be queen. I just needed to hear it one more time to get it through my damn head. I really wasn't drunk i only took two sips out of the bottle so it would be on my breath when I walked inside, someone knocked on the door I huffed and walked out. I heard Johnson tell Eric I was a firecracker ready to explode. Bet your as I am. And my mate better be ready for me. I'm not going to be one of those mates that has pups and keeps her mouth shut. I'm a warrior. And I'm going to stay a warrior. I'm not going to be a maid and clean rooms, I made it to my room, took a shower, dried off , got dressed in my night clothes and laid down. I knew I needed to be up early in the morning. I was going to show that girl what I can do. I'm not some push over. I want to be a top warrior. And if it takes getting up early and fighting my way to the top, so be it. But I also knew I wasn't the only one that wanted to be queen, there are plenty of girls here that wanted that title. So Erick has his hands full. And it's not going to be with me.

The next day I was up at four am. I wanted to get ready to head outside. So I got up and putt on a pair of black leggings and a t-shirt. I put my hand up in a ponytail, slid in my shoes and headed outside. I wasn't the only one out there waiting, Polly and Jammie was out there with Jimmy and Kenny and Kimmie. I knew there was a lot more but we were the early birds.

"Good to see you out here Trina. We are about to do some warm ups before the rest of the team gets out here. Let's do about thirty laps. By then they will be out here and we can cool down while we talk to them."

I nodded at Polly, we ran thirty laps. And she was right by the time we were done the whole crew was out here. We stopped doing laps.walked over to the group to stand in line,

Alright guys. I want you to be in line right now. Most of you are late getting out here. Do NOT let it happen again. I want you to do eighty laps while we start doing the warm ups. When you're done. You can come join us. Now get your ass to it. Let me see those feet moving right now."

I watched as the other group started running. Damn I'm glad I wasn't late. Well here we go. Polly can be a hard ass when it's time to train. It's the only way to get us to be stronger. And that's what I want. Nothing will harm anyone in this kingdom.

Mollie pov.

The next morning I found out that the girls will be cleaning up in the rooms. I will be doing the desk work and the lobby work, no problem I just have to check people in and out. Clean the lobby, make sure there is coffee and breakfast in the morning and at lunchtime make sure the Cook's have lunch out. At dinner time I have to make sure the tables and chairs are clean, mop the floor and make sure dinner is out. No problem at all. I was in the middle of sweeping the lobby floor when a few people came into the lobby. I swept the dirt in the dustpan and threw it in the trash. I walked behind the desk. And waited for them to come up to me. There were a few good looking men and the women were very pretty. One of the guys walked up smiling at me. The girl that was on his arm frowned because he was smiling.

"Why are you smiling at her? You're here with me, not with this rogue."

me being me could not keep my mouth shut. I spoke up on that matter.

"Excuse you. But I'm not a rogue. I do not smell like a rogue. And he is smiling at me because he's being polite. Something that I assumed you do not know how to be."

the men started laughing even the girl in the back was laughing. I heard her say.

"Damn Winny.you just got burned. Keep your mouth shut. We are here for the party. To find our mates. And Jack isn't your mate. You're his date until you find your mates."

"Yes I know Kristy but he had also said if he doesn't find his mate this time he will choose me. Only if I do not find mine. Come on baby. Let's get our rooms so we can relax a bit before we go around town.

She kissed his cheek, her hand on his chest making his claim on him, Jack smiled at me once more.

"I'm sorry sweetheart for her disrespect. One day she will learn not to be like this. No mate is going to want her if she keeps this up.

And he looked right at her. He signed the guest book and paid for the room. So did the other two. He gave me an extra fifty and told me to keep it. I smiled back at him and told him thank you.

By the way, we are from the red forest pack. The rest of us will be here tomorrow. We just came here a little early to enjoy the quiet before the storm" he chuckled and left to go find his room. I wrote that down beside his name. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to or not. But I did anyway
