I got home really late, probably around 11pm. I tiredly walked into the house only to meet Serafina waiting for me in the sitting room.
"Ameretto why are you still awake by this time of the night", I said worried.
Alessia who was by her side did not let her talk and interrupted
"Sir, she refused to eat or sleep, I tried my best to convince her to eat, she said she will only eat when she sees you", Alessia said bowing her head slightly.
I did not want to get angry at Alessia because Serafina really likes her so I told her to leave I and my daughter alone.
"Papino I am sorry for not eating but it is not Alessia's fault", she said with puppy eyes.
I felt bad because it was all my fault, if I had returned home early my daughter would have eaten.
