"I don't know what to do with your mother, hijo. . ."
Papa took a deep breath and I patted his back gently. Sabay kaming nakatitig sa madilim na langit at tahimik lang din sa isa't-isa.
"I will talk to her later, Papa. Kailangan din ni Mama ng pahinga."
He nodded and patted back my shoulder. He smiled a little bit, and that gives me an uplifting feeling.
"I'm glad, I still have a son. . ." he smiled.
"I know I wasn't a good father to the two of you, Axel," he continued and looked away.
"I was crazy at that time, and I have committed a lot of mistake to your mom," he went quiet. And I did the same.
Papa was right. He wasn't a saint and wasn't faithful during those years when I was young.
