I paced back and forth, my gown prowling the grand hall of the Blood Moon Pack’s castle. My body bristled with tension as I prepared for the inevitable clash. The moonlight streaming through the tall windows highlighted my sleek, powerful form. I let out a low sigh, the sound reverberating through the silent hall.
“Get ready,” I telepathically commanded the remaining pack’s guards and warriors. “They might be close by. We need to be prepared for anything.”
