Aria’s POV:
“I’m not trying to run away from you, Lyraeus. I’m just trying so hard to understand what is going on around me,” I said as I took his hands, leading him down the path to the lake.
Lyraeus just stared at me, his lips curled up in a little smile, his brows arched in curiosity. “I understand how you feel, I feel same too but I don’t try to run away from you,”
We stood in silence for a moment, the night air cool and crisp around us. Lyraeus took a step closer, his eyes never leaving mine. He reached out, gently brushing a strand of hair from my face. The touch sent a shiver down my spine, and I found myself leaning into him.
Before I knew it, our lips met in a tender kiss under the moonlight. The world seemed to fall away, leaving just the both of us
