Craig wasn’t certain why he’d accepted Kevan’s invitation except, perhaps, he really did need to get out of the apartment. He’d spent the morning trying to focus on cleaning, which only brought back memories of him and Scott sharing the chores, at his place or Scott’s, if they’d spent Saturday night together. As he worked, he realized he was getting pissed at Scott for disappearing, whether it was by choice or otherwise. It might not be fair to be angry at him, but damn it, if he walked away from us, from all we’d planned, then he’s a bastard. If somehow, someone killed him, and why would they, why didn’t he see it coming?
