Kevan called Mr. Johnson the next morning. The man promised to look at the video for the timeframe Kevan requested, when he had the chance. Johnson’s only comment was that he didn’t think hiding above the ceiling in the men’s room for almost ten hours was something any sane man would consider doing. “But then, if he did pull off what you’re suggesting, I guess he wasn’t sane, or he was desperate to disappear for whatever reason and that was the only recourse he could come up with.”
Kevan agreed, and thanked him for his help. He wasn’t quite so thankful two hours later when Johnson called back to tell him Scott wasn’t on the video of the front door, after the club had opened on Saturday.
