Tanya shared an apartment with her second oldest sister, who happened to be away for the weekend visiting their oldest sister. Her whole family was gathering together to help out after her first surgery, but they understood she needed time to herself to prepare for the journey ahead. For the time being, that meant enjoying what she had when she had it. She gave Flynn a brief tour—living room, kitchen, bathroom—finishing in her bedroom. She kicked off her shoes and Flynn did the same. In just their socks, there was only a couple inches of difference between them, which Flynn, being almost exactly six feet tall, wasn’t used to. Tanya barely had to lift her chin to meet his mouth in their first kiss.
