Unfortunately, neither Flynn nor Tanya had much free time for each other between then and the next gaming session. Flynn’s boss revealed they were getting a network upgrade, which meant half the people in the system ended up calling IT to ask what had changed and how it worked. Then there were the obligatory technologically-challenged people who called in a panic because suddenly things were different and they didn’t know what to do. It kept Flynn busy, but it also made him grateful for the breaks he got when he could check his e-mail and find a message from Tanya waiting for him.
