The Rejection

(Adelia's POV)

Daddy came into my room and sat on my bed next to my head. "It's time to wake up princess, we need to talk with you." He says while kissing my head.

I stretched out and lay my head on my Daddy's lap. "Okay daddy." I say while smiling up at him, still tired.

He smiles down to me, "Get up and meet us in the family room, okay?" daddy asks.

"Yes daddy" I say. Then he gets up, kisses my forhead and heads out my door.

Why do they wanna talk to me? Are they upset with me? Should I tell them about the Moon Godde.... I mean mother? What do I do now? I start bawling my eyes out in the corner of my room under the window. Do they hate me? Are they gonna get rid of me?

'Calm down my child'

Who was that? Is that Mother? Moon Goddess? I cry harder feeling all alone.

'My child you have got your first gift look outside,' I look up at the window it's pouring, oh no it never rains here, Did I do that?

'Yes my child control your emotions. Remember I am always here. Your family loves you. They won't get rid of you or leave you. Your first gift is Atmokensis. The ability to control weather. Control your emotions my daughter.'

The twins came running in my room as soon as the thunder and lightening started striking the forest outside. I can tell their wolves are in control.

"Stop crying princess we are right here. We can feel your emotions. Just breathe." The twins say together.

I breathe in and out three times before calming down and the weather clears up and turns sunny In seconds. Wow. I did that. I smile to myself.

"Why were you crying?" Alfie asks.

"I thought you guys didn't want me anymore or hated me." I say while sniffling.

The twins both hug me tight in a sandwich, "We love you princess, you are stuck with us forever." Alec says while smiling and Alfie just nods in agreement. I hug them back while smiling. They take my hands and start bringing me to the family room.

My whole family smiles at me and hugs me tight before anyone can say a word the door burst open and in comes the Alpha, Luna and their two children Derek and Ashton. Derek is as tall as my brothers, about 7 feet. He has blonde and bright vibrate green eyes. He's 22 just like Aron, when they both turn 25 they will take over as Alpha and Beta. He loves my brothers and my family but always kept his distance from me. I don't know why. Ashton is a spiting image of his brother but with blue eyes and he's only 5 feet 3 inches. He's 16 so he still has time to grow. I always had a crush on him but he ignores me because he's always hanging with the barbies. What is that smell does anyone else smell it? It's like campfire and chocolate. Wow.

"Is everyone alright? Did you see that storm? It came and went so unexpectedly." Alpha said.

The twins gave me a look and then got distracted when my daddy patted the Alpha on the back. "It's okay old friend. Just breath."Daddy says with a smile.

Ashton started sniffing the air. Wow. Does he smell it too? I smile to myself thinking about how my crush smells that intoxicating smell too. Next I know Ashton's In front of me saying the one word I wasn't ready for, "Mate".

Everyone stares at Ashton like he's crazy. His dad, the alpha, walks over to us, "How? She hasn't shifted yet. You can't know till she's 16." They are all really confused. My parents give a worried glance towards me. Ashton looks mad.

"I KNOW DAD. BUT SHES MY MATE. ALL I KNOW IS SHES WEIRD ALWAYS TRYING TO BE FAKE. I DON'T WANT HER I WANTED BELLA." Ashton yells.

I have tears building in my eyes. I'm trying so hard not to cry. Bella is one

of the barbies. She has black hair and green eyes. The other two are Bethany, who has brown hair and green eyes, and Beatrice, who has blonde hair and green eyes. Their rules to join the barbies is to be skinny, have a name that starts with a 'b' and have green eyes. See why I don't fit with them. Bella use to be Ella but she changed her name. So who is really fake here? I guess I am getting side tracked. I feel my four brothers gather around me and holding on to me. It makes me want to cry more but I try really hard to hold it in. I can't cry. I can't cry.

'It's okay my daughter. This is a test. You will not feel pain if he rejects you. There is another mate waiting. Be strong.'

The Goddess, my mother is talking to me again. I love that she's there for me. Be strong. I can do this.

Alpha Ryan Ocean was as red as a tomato. I think he's mad. Is he mad at me or his son? " You do not go against the Moon Goddess. If she wants you with Adelia then there is a reason and she has a plan for you two." he says.

"You will not speak of Adelia that way. She is special open your eyes." Luna Marie said while glaring at her son and then smiling at me.

"I, Ashton Jay Ocean, reject you,........" Ashton started till Aron and Derek cut him off at the same time.

"DON'T ASHTON. THINK BEFORE DOING SOMETHING STUPID." Derek and Aron screamed at the same time. My mother and the Luna were gasping with their hands on their mouths. My father and the Alpha were glaring at Ashton. "You could kill her, she's only nine." Adam said while glaring at Ashton and squeezing his hands into a fist.

"I don't care. I, Ashton Jay Ocean, reject you Adelia Goddess Willow, as my mate." Ashton rambled out as fast as he could so no one could interrupt him again. I felt nothing. What do I do now?

'Accept his rejection daughter. There is someone better waiting for you.'

Yes Moon goddess, I mean mother I thought. "I, Adelia Goddess Willow accept your rejection, Ashton Jay Ocean. I hope the Goddess blesses you." I turned to the twins and laid my head on Alfie's tummy. Alfie picked me up bridal style so I could hide in his chest. I heard Ashton scream and I turned my face to see him kneeling on the ground. What's wrong with him?

'It's the pain of rejecting a mate bond I took it so you wouldn't feel it my daughter.'

"YOU ARE A DISGRACE!!!!" Alpha Ryan roars at Ashton. Everyone cowards except the twins and I. I wonder why?

'Because the twins are your protectors, they don't bow to anyone but you and you are a goddess and royalty, so you are superior to all.'

Wow. I think my father is finally done here. He looks mad. If looks could kill I'm sure Ashton would be six feet under. He calms down and turns to Alpha Ryan, "Alpha, we are all fine, I am thinking you all should leave though. I think my daughter needs space. She only just turned nine and now she's dealing with a rejection. At least she is strong enough to add a blessing to your son. Look at how much pain it is to your sixteen year old son, can you imagine how a nine year old is gonna end up dealing with this?"

"Of course I'm so sorry Adelia on my son's behalf. I'm proud of your maturity. I'll talk to you later everyone. Good night."Alpha says and turns dragging Ashton out of the house.

Luna kisses my forehead, "I'm so sorry sweet girl." she smiles sadly and leaves behind the Alpha.

"What an i***t" mutters Derek. " I'm sorry for my brother. I will talk with you tomorrow Aron." Aron nods and Derek sighs and leaves shutting the door behind him.

My mother and father sighs. "Are you okay Adelia?" I say nothing and just snuggle further into my brother, Alfie. My parents sigh again. "Alec, Alfie take Adelia to bed I'll bring food up." mommy says. She sounds sad. Did I make her sad?

"You did nothing wrong princess." Alfie whispers in my ear. They really can feel my emotions. My brothers bring me to my room laying me on my bed. Alec is on my right side and Alfie is on my left. My mom comes in about 10 minutes later but the twins say I am already sleeping. She kisses my forehead and leaves the room. I drift off to darkness hoping tomorrow is better.
