Chapter Twenty-Nine

Casen

“Elle is the queen of dark witches. She is seeking Tana for Queen Syndra. Elle told Tana that once Syndra has Tana’s ashes too, she will be immortal and will rule all species. Tana got Elle to confess that Syndra has Tana’s father’s ashes. His name is Gydrus. Tana is now on a mission to free her father. She also tapped into her mother Shalia. I have been suspecting for a time that Tana didn’t just become queen because of her dragon. I think that Tana’s mother was queen of the light witches, which means Shalia was part fae in some form. I am waiting for a special someone to arrive and confirm my suspicions if she can. Tana is going to need to be taught how to harness her light magic now that she’s tapped into it. We are going to have to be prepared to feed her and she is going to need to be warmed and her mark fueled. It is going to take a lot of effort from all of us to tend to her now that she is pregnant as well. I know what I went through tapping into souls when I was pregnant, so, Casen, you have to be willing to allow us all to help her without a fight. Your dragon needs to accept this until she can gain control.” Robyn explained.

“We only have two weeks before school resumes. How much can be done in that time frame?” I asked. “A lot, but it can’t end with just attending classes she will need to be training the rest of the time. We have no idea when Tana will be found, but I know it is likely she will be. She is going to be much more powerful than she is now. We also have to agree that her pregnancy doesn’t leave this estate. I will have her mind control every dragon here and I will handle the rest of you if I must. I don’t mean to be harsh, but…”

“She is going to have to make a decision about your father and brother as well,” Robyn added. “If it was up to me, I would say let them rot in the dungeon for two weeks at least like they did us. I would say burn Callum’s mother, but it would only hurt Callum. To hurt my father, my mother would need to be burned and I will not have that, so we’ll have to wait to see what is on my wife’s mind.” I said. “Speaking of which. I need to marry her in the traditional way. Any suggestions?” I asked.

“Let’s see how she reacts to your father and brother’s punishment before we move forward,” Alexander said. I nodded. “I do think that if they are not released Tana and I may need to move to my dad’s estate. It is much bigger than this one, but we will need to make changes to the staff. I will not have all the human workers be there and we will have to be on guard constantly to protect them.”

Looks were passed around, but heads were nodding their agreement. “If it comes to that, my wife and I will look for staff from our world,” Okan offered. “You will take what staff we have here. I will send for more.” Oisin stated. “Are you sure father?” “Yes, we have plenty of staff, you know this. Many we left behind because of our quick departure.” Oisin confirmed. That was a small relief off my mind. “If this happens the staff will be compensated generously,” I stated. Again, there were nods and murmurs of agreement.

“Maybe we should all settle in for the night. We can process more of this in the morning.” Robyn suggested.

I got up and made my way towards our room. So much needs to be done and we are on limited time. To think Tana’s father is still in existence of a sort. I quietly opened our door and slipped inside.

Tana hasn’t moved from where I laid her down. I stripped my clothes off and crawled into bed behind her. I adjusted to spoon her, and she moved and began rolling over. She curled herself into my body. She rested her leg over mine and wrapped her arm around my torso, holding me tight to her. I could definitely handle this. “Casen.” She murmured so softly as she buried her face deeper into my neck. I wrapped my arms around her and smiled.

I heard a retching sound. I shot up in bed. Tana wasn’t in bed with me. I heard the sound again and I made a mad dash for the bathroom. Tana was kneeling on the floor in front of the toilet. She vomited as I stood just inside the door watching her. I grabbed a towel that was hanging up and brought it to her to help wipe the beads of sweat that had formed on her forehead.

“I’m fine. Just nauseous.” She leaned back over to empty her belly again. I rubbed her back and it seemed to calm her. I heard a small sigh escape her. After a moment, she pushed off the ground and stood. She flushed the toilet and moved to the sink. She rinsed her mouth. The color was returning to her face now that her stomach had seemed to settle some. I tossed the towel on the floor, and we went back into the bedroom. She climbed back into bed. I glanced at the clock, and it was just after three in the morning. I crawled back into bed.

She rolled herself and adjusted her body on top of mine where she was using me as her bed. I pulled the blankets over us as she settled herself. I held her to me and I could hear her softly snoring. I can smell the difference now. Her scent of apples and cinnamon had intensified. I think I just wasn’t picking up on it because of how rough last night was for the both of us.

I woke to gentle kisses being placed all over my neck. I cracked my eyes open, and Tana was kissing in my neck. My di.ck rose and grazed her belly. I heard a tiny chuckle in my neck. She leaned up and saw me looking at her with hooded eyes as my eyes adjusted to the light streaming into the room. I smiled at her. She lowered her lips to mine and pecked soft kisses to them. I wrapped my arm around her lower back and pulled her in tighter. I groaned at the friction of her body pressing onto my di.ck. She rocked her body, and it made me want to moan loudly.

She placed her hands on the sides of me and pushed her upper body up as she gazed down at me. I didn’t give her time to react. I raised my head and captured her right nip*.le in my mouth. Her head fell back, and she moaned as I sucked her deeply. She reached her hand between us, and I felt her body slide down onto me. I sat up as she sat on my lap. I gripped her hips and set the pace as her body ground down on mine. She wrapped her legs around me and it pressed me in deeper.

She panted and moaned as I grunted and moaned while my tongue still lashed and teased her brea.sts. I traded off between them. She thrust her hand in my hair and her other on my shoulder to grip onto me better. “Oh, yes, yes, just like that Casen.” She panted as her fingers dug into my shoulder and scalp. I felt her body tightening on me and she pulled me tighter to her chest, burying my face to her. “Aw, Ah, OH!” She cried out as her release flooded her body. I thrust into her for a minute more before I tugged her down tightly onto me and held her as my release took over and I spilled myself in her body.

There was silence for a couple of minutes other than our heavy panting as we held each other. I heard a grumble and we both chuckled. “Hungry.” “Starving.” “Let’s get cleaned up and we can get you down to breakfast to feed you and our baby.” She pulled off my body and climbed to the edge of the bed. I loved watching her a.ss sway as she crawled off the bed. I had to look away quickly before I got hard again. I took a few deep breaths to clear my lustful thoughts and to control them or we’d never make it to breakfast.

Everyone was trickling into the dining room as we entered. Tana practically rushed for her seat and before she sat down, she snatched a few sausage links off the plate set near hers. She was stuffing them into her mouth before her a.ss completely connected to the chair. She let out little moans as she chewed her food. There was some soft chuckling at her reaction. I noticed they set several serving dishes of meats within Tana’s grasp, almost as if they were mostly for her. I glanced to Robyn and she slightly nodded.

Tana piled her plate with sausage, bacon, and ham. I took a few of each for my plate but kept my selection low just in case. Tana finished off a plate and a half before it seemed she took a breath. She did throw up a lot in the middle of the night and we did wake up and expel energy by making love to each other. She must really need to refuel herself.

“Tana, we are going to need you to make a decision on Corbin and Callum.” Oisin said. “What why?” She mumbled around the bite of ham she just stuffed in her mouth. “I didn’t get to talk to her yet.” I said. “Oh.” Oisin replied. “Corbin attacked us and a few of his alphas. Callum joined in.” Oisin was explaining.

“Dad, help me to project the incident for her.” Robyn said as she stood and moved to Oisin’s side. She reached out towards his temple. “May I?” He nodded. Oren joined Robyn at her side, and he placed his hand out as she touched his arm with her free hand. A holographic image of the throne room last night came into view.

I felt the tug of mind link. Suddenly, I heard what was being said in my mind. I realized Robyn was using her mind link she gave all of us to project the sound into our minds.

“You should feel disgraced trying to control our queen.” Alexander accused my father. “Like you wouldn’t have done the same. She needs a firm hand guiding her. She is too young.” My dad rebutted. “She belongs to all of us,” Oisin said. My father sat on his throne. “She was discovered in my kingdom, in my palace.” He gestured to the room. “I rule every subject in my kingdom. She is no different.” “You murdered her just for finding out about our world. You’re despicable.” Okan piped up.

My father didn’t dispute him. “I have done what I can to protect our world. You have all gone soft. What are you going to do when humans start hunting us as trophies for their walls because they found out about us? How many human deaths would happen then as a dragon tries to defend themselves? A life here or there protects from massive deaths.”

“Now I order you to leave my kingdom by morning or there will be war between us.” “Not going to happen. She is our queen and we have sworn to protect her. Where she is we will be. You know she can decree this, and you will have to obey.” Alexander taunted a little bit. “This is my kingdom, not hers. I will kill you right now before she can decree anything.” My dad growled.

“You can try, but we outnumber you.” Oisin stated facts. “That won’t stop me. You have no longer a right to be in my kingdom and now are trespassing. Your lives will be forfeit to me.” My father changed into his dragon as he lunged for Alexander. Callum watched, not moving for a minute, as Okan and Alandar changed and began attacking my dad. You could notice the change as Oisin made it and Alexander changed quickly too.

Callum looked to be battling something internally, but a half a minute later he changed and launched himself into the fray. A few dragon alphas changed, and I thought they would fight for my father, but they helped to subdue him and Callum. Alexander had my dad’s neck gripped in his mouth as his sharp teeth penetrated my dad’s scales. Alexander is bigger than my dad. Alandar is just as massive. Okan is about my dad’s size, and I couldn’t see Oisin as we were watching through his point of view.

Okan and Alandar subdued Callum. They had him on the ground and Alandar was sitting on Callum’s tail and Okan was stepping with his front claws on his neck. He tried to struggle, but it seemed like Callum thought again and gave up. Oisin must have changed again.

“Corbin Carrington, you are defeated. You will be imprisoned in your dungeon and are stripped of your title as king until our queen decides what your fate will be.” Two of the alphas that helped them to subdue my dad and brother stepped up. “Prince Casen will hold the title of king for the interim until our queen makes her decision.” It was Ainsley’s father. I had to chuckle at that internally. “Change.” Oisin commanded both of them. Alexander bit down a little harder to make a point as they changed back into their human forms and had magical cuffs slapped on them before they were led down into the dungeons. Alandar and Okan followed them down after changing themselves.
