Chapter Eleven

Casen I watched as Tana drove away. I quickly made my way to Hyde Park. As much as I wanted to stay in that room with Tana all day, I needed to get back before my dad realized I had snuck out. I changed fast into my dragon, and we flew the fastest we could. I left the balcony door unlocked to my rooms. I landed and changed fast, slipping into my rooms and locking the door behind me. I stripped, grabbing her panties to add to the other pair as I crawled into my bed. I wish I could still hold her, but at least I got to spend the night with her, talking with her as I made love to her over and over. I still want her. ~~~ I made my way to my rooms. I finished my training early this Saturday morning. I want to figure out if I can get Tana to meet me again. It’s been a few days. I love talking to her, but I want to see her face to face. I noticed a staff member leaving Ainsley’s rooms. I felt bad for him. Something niggled at me and when he raised his head, I knew I had seen him before. He was the guy who kissed Tana in the club. “Excuse me.” I called out. He looked at the ground as I approached him. “How can I help you sir?” “Do you know Tana?” “Yes, did she do something wrong to your rooms? I’ll fix it.” “Wrong with my rooms?” I asked. “Yes, she cleans your quarters. I don’t want her to get into trouble. I’ll fix anything that may be wrong.” “She works here?” “Yes. Do you need me to help you sir?” “No, no. I’m fine. Never mind.” He nodded and moved away and around the corner. I went into my rooms and flopped on my couch. Tana has been here under my nose the whole time. She knew who I was this whole time. I want to be angry that she lied to me. That she used me, but I approached her. I took her into that alcove. She still should have told me. I showered and changed into fresh clothes. I was going to find her. I made my way to the staff quarters. I could smell the cinnamon apple. I followed it to a room at the end of the hall. There was no doubt it was her room, but I could smell she wasn’t inside. She may still be working somewhere in the house. I went back to my rooms not knowing what to do. I needed to clear my head. I want to fly, but if one of my father’s men spots me, I’ll be in trouble. I stepped out onto my balcony instead to let the cold crisp air fill my lungs so I could calm myself. Movement caught my eye crossing the lawn towards the woods below. I would know her body anywhere now. I raced down to get outside. What was she doing? I followed her scent into the woods. I caught movements and watched as she danced around the small open area. I tucked myself behind a couple of thick trees to hide from her view. She mesmerized me as I watched her dance. I want to join her, but I have other plans in mind for her. It makes sense now why she didn’t want to video chat with me. I would have recognized the wall paper throughout the house. I still don’t understand why she hid herself from me. I watched her dance for hours. She never went inside to have lunch. She just danced until her body shook too much from the cold. I don’t understand why she is dancing out here either. I kept out of her sight when she went back inside. I texted Orien to just meet me in the woods since I was already here. I moved to where she had danced and danced some of the moves she was doing. I saw Orien approach. “Tana works here and lives in the house.” I blurted out. His expression showed me he wasn’t surprised. “You knew?” I accused. “Yes, I saw her in the woods dancing. I confronted her.” “Why didn’t you tell me?” “She was trying to stay away from you. She didn’t want to lose her job. She knew she crossed a line with you and promised to leave you alone.” “But she didn’t leave me alone.” “No, I encouraged her to talk to you. I’m sorry.” “This is so messed up. She agreed to be my girlfriend and she has been lying to me the whole time. I want to be mad at her, but I can’t.” “I told her she needed to tell you. I just didn’t realize you would find her out so quickly. She probably thought she had more time too to explain things. What are you going to do now?” I grinned. He returned it. ~~~ I opened Tana’s door quietly. I saw her sleeping form. I removed my clothes and grabbed the condom I had brought with me. I carefully climbed into bed behind her. I wrapped my arm around her and palmed her stomach. I kissed her shoulder with soft kisses. I felt it the moment she was alerted to my presence. Her body stiffened. “Don’t make a sound Baby.” I warned her as I lifted her nightshirt and pulled her panties down and off. I sheathed myself with the condom and tested her with my fingers before I pushed into her body from behind. She gasped and groaned. I f*cked her hard and deep. She covered her mouth with her hands. I kept myself as quiet as I could with my grunts and moans. When I felt her ready to c*m, I reached around and claimed her mouth as I played with her cl*t to drive her over the edge. She screamed into my mouth. I groaned into hers. We laid there for a couple of minutes just panting for air. I heard soft sniffles. She’s crying? Why is she crying? “What’s the matter Baby?” I whispered. “I’m a liar and soon to be unemployed liar.” She choked on a stifled sob. “You’re not going to lose your job.” “Yes, I am. I’m not supposed to get involved with you. I’ll be found out. We can’t hide this.” “Yes, we can, but you have to promise to come to my room each night. I won’t be able to sleep knowing you’re so close and I can’t touch you or hold you. You can pretend to not know me during the day and at night you are mine.” She nodded. “Good. Now let's go to my room. It will be harder to hide me here in this tiny room.” She slipped on her nightshirt and some slippers and grabbed her phone. I got dressed myself. We made our way to my room. I pulled her into my bedroom and settled her on my bed. I didn’t need her again. All I wanted was to snuggle her into me and sleep. She fell back to sleep fast. I held her close and breathed her in. I was content that she was in my bed. Her alarm went off before sunrise. I kissed her and snuggled her for a few minutes before I let her slip back to her room. I felt great. I was able to fall back to sleep fast because I could smell her on my pillow and sheets. I hugged the pillow she used into me. ~~~ I have slept great all week. I’ve even finished my morning training early so I can be in my rooms when she cleans them. I watch as she dances around, and I join her. I help her clean up as well. She looks so different with her contacts, uniform, and hair in a tight bun. I get why I didn’t recognize her, even if I may have seen her before. The one thing she can’t hide is her legs, which I am infatuated with, especially when they are wrapped around my body as she takes me into her body. I have even taken to riding to school with her. Orien drops me off a little ways down the road and she is there waiting for me. I love the time I get to spend with her on the drive to school. Orien is always following us, or we follow him. She promised to teach me how to drive if we can work it out. I like that idea. I’m not happy that this is the last week I have with Orien. I am glad I won’t be alone, but I don’t want him to go. We have been training really hard, even with our air training. We just finished training hard in the air. We flew over the wooded area we like to land in, and Tana uses to practice. I didn’t see her, and I was glad. She probably went in because it had started to get really cold. We landed and I smelled her before I saw her. She was staring right at us with a look of shock. She turned and tried running. She tripped and hit her head on a log. I changed fast and ran for her. “Sh*t, f*ck. She saw us.” “Keep calm. We are the only ones who know she saw us. She doesn’t even know it was us. She just knows she saw dragons.” Orien is right. I picked her up and carried her to the house. Her head is bleeding a little. “What are you doing with her?” Callum confronted me. “We found her in the woods like this. She may have tripped on a log and hit her head. I’m going to take her to clean her wound and help her.” I started up the stairs. “CASEN!” My dad’s voice boomed in mind link. “What dad? I’m busy.” “No, you are not. Come to my office right now!” “I can’t. I’m busy.” “Bring the girl.” My mouth went dry, and I swallowed hard. I turned to head back down the stairs. I carried Tana with a heavy heart towards my dad’s office. Callum followed close behind so I couldn’t make an escape with her. His office door was opened, and I walked in. I wanted to throw up when I saw Ainsley standing there with a look of glee. Callum closed the door behind us. “So, this is the girl you have been sneaking into your room every night.” How did he know? “Yes.” I couldn’t lie. He could probably smell me on her. “I overlooked it because you were doing as you were supposed to, but I can’t stand for this. She saw you. She saw Orien. Her life is forfeit.” “NO!” I cried out. “Yes, she will be burned to death in two weeks in front of the council of alphas.” “You can’t I love her.” “She is human. She saw our world. It is forbidden to know about our world.” “You could change that law. They changed it in America and other places.” “No, the law will stand. I cannot justify saving her while I sentenced so many others to their deaths. She is inconsequential. She will pay the sacrifice like so many before her.” “If you put her to death, I will kill you.” “No, you won’t. You will be held until my sentencing is carried out. You will watch her burn.” My father’s personal guards entered the room and took Tana out of my arms. They carried her out while they shackled me with special handcuffs spelled with magic. “I told her to stay away from you. I guess she should have listened to me.” Ainsley gloated with glee. “F*ck you! You’ll never see your dragon because I’m going to kill you too.” I let the venom fall from my words as I was escorted out of the house and into a van along with Tana. I’m worried about her. She hasn’t regained consciousness. Orien watched as the van pulled away. I wished he could have helped, but he can’t interfere with my father’s commands without risking war upon his family. We were driven to my father’s palace. It's hidden in the woods, but it is massive, like the estate. They took us down into the dungeons. They placed Tana in one cell and me in the one next to her. I could feel the magic surrounding the bars. I won’t be able to change if I want to. My dragon is being suppressed by whatever magic spells that are in place. “Tana. Tana” I tried to rouse her. She murmured but didn’t wake up for a few more minutes. She opened her eyes and peered around her cell. She shot up into a sitting position looking around. “You’ve been detained,” I said. Her head snapped to me. “Casen, dragons are real. I’m not crazy, but how did I get here?” “I know Baby. You saw Orien and me. Humans are not allowed to know about our world. My father has sentenced you to death.” “What? Why? I didn’t do anything. Why are you in a cell?” “I know you didn’t do anything. I’m here because I threatened to kill my father, the king of all dragons in Europe.” “K, king? You are a prince?” I nodded.
