Chapter Twelve

Tana I felt a hand on my stomach and lips pressing soft kisses on my shoulder. I thought I was dreaming for a split second, but I wasn’t sleeping. My body stiffened under his mouth before I smelled him. “Don’t make a sound Baby.” My mind spiraled. How did he find me? I’m out of a job and home. I couldn’t think as he lifted my night shirt off of me and removed my panties. He pressed fingers into my body from behind me. I gasped and let out a groan before I remembered I needed to be quiet. I felt him enter me and my body was in bliss to be filled with him. To be smelling him. He wasn’t gentle. His strokes were hard and a little punishing. He still felt amazing, and I covered my mouth with one hand over the other to hold in my noises. He was trying to keep his noises down too. He grunted and moaned against my neck and shoulder. I felt the pressure build. I was going to find my release. He grasped my chin and turned it back towards him, claiming my mouth. He then rested his hand between my legs and rubbed, and circled my cl*t. He put pressure on my cl*t and I was lost to my orgasm. I screamed into his mouth as he groaned deeply into mine. Reality rushed back into me. I couldn’t stop the tears from falling and the need to sniffle. “What’s the matter Baby?” He whispered. “I’m a liar and soon to be unemployed liar.” I choked on the sob I was trying to control. “You’re not going to lose your job.” He tried to assure me. “Yes, I am. I’m not supposed to get involved with you. I’ll be found out. We can’t hide this.” I pleaded with him to understand in my tone. “Yes, we can, but you have to promise to come to my room each night. I won’t be able to sleep knowing you’re so close and I can’t touch you or hold you. You can pretend to not know me during the day and at night you are mine.” I was at a loss for words. I nodded because I didn’t want to leave. I don’t want to lose him. “Good. Now let's go to my room. It will be harder to hide me here in this tiny room.” He was right. I collected my night shirt and slipped it over my body while he dressed himself. I slipped on my slippers and grabbed my phone. He guided me through the halls. We stuck to the shadows and behind things in case someone might see us. At least in his area, the only other person is Ainsley. We moved more freely through the hall there. He opened his bedroom door and pulled me inside. He lifted me and settled me into his bed. I pulled my slippers off and tossed them on the floor. His bed was much more comfortable than my bed. He curled around me and cuddled me into his body. I was drained from the love-making and it was the middle of the night. I felt myself fade fast. ~~~ My alarm went off. I didn’t want to get up. Casen snuggled me closer to him, holding me tightly. I was going to tell him I needed to go, but he released me after a few minutes. I slipped my slippers on and quietly left his room. I couldn’t go back the way we came. I used the halls we use more as staff to conceal my movements. I was back inside my room quicker than I thought. I reset my alarm and climbed back into my bed. I could smell him on my pillow and blankets. I loved it. I fell back to sleep dreaming of him. My alarm woke me. I readied myself for the day. I pretended nothing was amiss during breakfast and the morning meeting. I was still panicking on the inside. I have to be careful I can’t let them see things have changed. That Casen knows I’m here and we are a couple. I made my way to his rooms quickly so I could hide in them from prying eyes. I hadn’t gotten far into my cleaning when I felt arms wrap around me from behind. I was startled. He turned me in his arms and kissed me. I stepped back and removed my earbuds. “You can’t be in here.” “Why not, they’re my rooms.” “I’m going to have to leave. If someone comes to the rooms and discovers I’m in here with you, it's over for me.” “How many times do they check on you?” “Never that I know of, but I can’t be certain they don’t. Although they don’t like cleaning after you. They find you brash and other reasons,” I admitted. “I figured as much. I’m a lot to handle.” He joked. “It’s not funny.” “Is this how you ended up cleaning my rooms?” “Sort of. I kind of begrudgingly volunteered though I really did want to clean them. I liked you from the moment I first saw you.” “You like me, huh.” He smirked. I shook my head at him. “Now, go please.” “Nope, you are in my rooms, and no one can enter my rooms. I locked the doors.” “Oh.” I replied. He smiled before kissing me again. I wanted to get lost in kissing him, but I couldn’t. I still had a job to do. I stepped away from him again. “I do still need to work.” “I’ll help you.” I looked at him and nodded. I handed him the earbud to my left ear and began playing my music again. He smiled as the music played. I did as I normally would do, even dancing around. That made him happy. He took every opportunity to dance with me. Sometimes we danced together and others we danced wherever we were in the room. I couldn’t control my smiles. He returned them. ~~~ I smiled as I pulled off the move I had seen in the videos I watched. It was a combination of a move and my twist on it. It fit the part of my dance that I was struggling with to figure out the choreography. I can’t wait to show Casen. I have enjoyed spending my mornings with him and driving with him to school. Orien drives him home since his classes run later than mine. We don’t want to be seen as breaking our routine. Casen is careful when he comes back to his rooms in the mornings. Each night he holds me or makes love to me. I sleep deeply when I’m in his arms. My fears of getting caught diminish day after day. Maybe we can pull this off. We only have to make it until spring. We will both graduate and maybe if he wants to come away with me, we can move away and find our own place. I know I’d be asking a lot of him. I only hoped maybe he would want the same thing. I sat under the big oak tree day dreaming of a future with Casen. I turned my face to the sky. It may be cold, but I didn’t mind it. Two huge shadows passed overhead. I couldn’t believe it. I got up and began running, following the black masses. This can’t be true. It can’t be real. I saw them descend a little further ahead of me. I didn’t know why I ran to them. I was being a fool, but I needed to see. I froze in place. I was staring at two massive black dragons. Dragons are real? I felt like I was held in place for a long time, but it was a mere couple of seconds. What if they attack me? Run, flee. I listened to my brain and turned back to the house. I didn’t get far before I tripped on a root and my head crashed towards a log as I fell to the ground.
