We set off on our journey and as planned, I pick up the pace after we clear through the forest. “Princess slow down! The horses cannot keep up that pace!” shouts one of the guards. I pretend that I cannot hear them. That way if my father gives out to me later for pulling this act, I will have the perfect excuse. I did not run away from them to get to the kingdom faster so that the date would be over and done with quicker… I simply did not realize that the horses were that slow and I could not hear them shouting at me.
