Ember has been surprising me every day since she's gotten her wolf. I had no idea she could use her ice magic like that. It's amazing she was able to do it for the first time like that. I don't think she realizes how naturally talented she is at times.
Ember and I headed towards the group of heirs that had split away from their parents. These will be the people I'll be dealing with when I become king. It's better to get to know them over the current kings and queens. They eyed us carefully, they seemed to not trust us.
