Ash's P.O.V. (After Ember spoke with her mom in the hall)
"Knock knock." Ember's voice entered the room.
I'd been left alone hearing everything that happened to Ember while I was being rejected. I'll kill Hunter before he becomes king. No one messes with Ember and lives.
"You know that's not how knocking works." I joked.
