Joe's POV
We were all still basically in shock and it felt like I was standing on jellied legs. I followed Kai, into the house, the words 'I rembember everything bouncing around in my mind'. Connor fell in next to me, silently walking and giving me side glances to probably check if I just saw what he saw, because he looked to be in as much shock as I was.
I watched as Kai went and grabbed another sweatpants to put on. Connor and I was still just staring at each other.
I automatically started with the lunch, trying to busy myself with making sandwiches. When I looked down, I had basically mashed the tomatoes.
I felt the tension in the room as soon as Kai came back. I felt his hand on my shoulder and automatically turned to him.
