Kai’s POV:
Over next two days I went out everyday searching for the two wolves. But I didn’t see them again. Something was pushing me toward them, and it was distracting me which I didn’t like.
I took a quick shower and then heard Joe’s voice as it floated up to me in the room.
“Breakfast is ready”
I walked down still distracted by my earlier thoughts when I heard the howls. The howling increased and it sounded so sorrowful.
The sound of despair coming from the wolves made me want to reach out to them, save them. I shook my head, trying to shake the feeling of kindred spirits, I felt connected to them somehow.
I stared out the window searching for them, they were staring towards the cabin, the song calling to me.
