Episode 3

Aldrin's POV

I sat down sa swivel chair inside the meeting room and closed my eyes. Iniisip ko kung anong unang dapat kong sabihin kay Anna.

I heard a slow movement from the doorknob and I saw her pushed the button that closed the blinds of the meeting room.

Interesting. "Are you planning to do something bad? sabi ko sa kanya habang nakatalikod pa siya

"Why do you think so? sagot niya habang umuupo sa tapat ko

Tumayo naman ako and made my way to her. I turned her chair so she can see me.

" Cause you should have not closed the blinds. " dahan dahan ko siyang binulungan

" I can kill you right here, right now without no one knowing" pagmamaldita niya ng pabulong din sa akin

" Scary, but will not work on me." tumayo ako ng bahagya at itinulak ang upuan niya sa kanto ng kwarto. Hinila ko ang mga kamay niya and pinned her on the wall.

Did you like the flowers? " tanong ko sa kanya habang nakatigtig sa mga mata niya

" I don't want new beginnings with you." She pressed on my lips after her hands got away from my grip.

Now go back up, cause you are wasting both our time. " sagot pa niya at lumabas na ng kwarto

I dont want to choose defeat lalo na sa babaeng mahal ko.

Someone then came out from the door.

" Hi Babe!" Narinig kong bumati siya habang nakapulupot ang kamay sa bewang ng girlfriend ko and planted a kiss on her.

Naitikom ko ang kamao ko sa ginawa niya. Agad naman sumagot si Anna.

" Si Aldrin nga pala, an old friend and si Julius, my partner. she introduce us while changing glances

" Nice to meet you Aldrin " bati niya sa akin at inilahad pa ang kanyang palad.

" Nice to meet you too" I did not manage to shake his hand.

" Were good from here Aldrin, right? Please wait for our response to your proposal. " sabi ni A ng walang ka emo emosyon.

" Well, I got to go. I have another meeting as well. I'll wait for your response then.' binilisan ko ang pag alis sa lugar na iyon.

I went straight to my car. Naiinis akong pinalo ang manibela ng kotse. " Was I really an old friend for her now?" nasabi ko ng malakas sa hangin.

She should not be saying these pag nalaman nyan kung anong nangyari after ng contest. I had no choice but to do it for us.

Now that I am one of the known businessman in the industry I will not let this chance pass.

" Hello, Peter? Yes, I want you to look for this person na partner daw ni Anna. Julius is his name but I was not able to get the last name. Give me all the information about this man as soon as possible." pagkatapos noon ay ibinaba ko na ang tawag.

Anna's Pov

" Were good from here Aldrin, right? Please wait for our response to your proposal. " I made an alibi so that Julius will not know that he was the person I been telling him from the past.

Julius was my business partner. He is my sidekick kapag may mga lalaking nangungulit sa akin to date them at ayaw akong tantanan.

He is a member of the LGBT community kaya naman eh palagay akong kasama siya lagi.

He also have his name established in the fashion industry for gowns and high end dresses that are worn by known personalities.

Mabuti at wala na ang mga bulaklak na kanina ay pumuno ng kwarto ko.

" If I know, kaya mo ako ginagamit dahil nirereserve mo yang sarili mo sa poging businessman na iyon. " kinurot pa niya ako ng bahagya sa bewang

"Aray! masakit yun ha. Girl!!! tama na. Tapos na lahat sa amin. Ni ghosting niya ako tapos ngayon babalik siya ng parang walang nangyari?." sagot ko pa sa kanya

" Ay girl! kaya nga po siguro siya andito kasi sinusuyo ka niya. Ayaw mo lang siyang bigyan ng chance. Nakita ko siya kanina sa cctv. Galing ako sa security room kanina, at nakita ko din ang mga bulaklak na pinadala niya sayo kaya wag kang magkaila na hindi siya umi effort." lahad pa niya

Natahimik lang ako ng bahagya, marahil ay nangingibabaw ang galit ko sa kanya. Ang daming pumasok sa isip ko ng mga panahon na hindi ako natanggap ng isang mensahe sa kanya.

Hindi ba niya kayang magsend ng message? o pindutin ang call button para tawagan ako? Natakot ba siya sa parents ko nung nagkita sila sa bahay? Ang daming mga tanong na gusto kong malaman.

" Uy Girl! tama na yang pag iisip mo. Lika na, may meeting pa tayo before ng event mamaya. I bet , andun si pogi mamaya" ani niya

Tumayo nalang ako sa kinauupuan ko at muling bumalik sa meeting room A.

Medyo mahaba ang itinakbo ng meeting dahil ayaw kong may isang sasablay. The venue? sa residence ng mga Monte Alegre. Well, they are known in the same and other industry. Maraming mayayaman na pwedeng pumunta so I made sure na everything will be perfect.

" Ok, this meeting is done. Everyone, be ready for the fashion show and the Auction. Well have a team outing after this big event. " sabi ko with authority dahil ayaw kong may papalpak sa event na to

" I'll see you in the car Juls, I have something to get in my room" dagdag ko pa habang nakatingin kay Julius

" Alright, I'll wait for you in the car " balik naman niya sa akin

Clau cannot join the the ramp dahil sa injury nya so I am to wear the gown that she should be wearing. I chose it for her cause it was so beautiful. It was glittery red gown na parehas naming nagustuhan.

Nauna kami ng mga crew and models including Julius sa venue so we can prepare for the design and flow ng event. We have a dedicated room for us. Napakawelcoming ng mga Monte Alegre. They really made it special for the celebrant.

I made my way to the dedicated room reserve for us. Wala pa masyadong tao sa venue so I can still have a nap. I felt a little sleepy because of the situation earlier sa office.

There was a massage chair in the room. I sat down and get the headset that includes on the packet ng massage chair. Inayos ko position and played the music. I had it set to a 30 minutes song playlist.

Nagplay ang unang kanta at napangiti ako ng bahagya. I know this song. hindi hindi ko ito makakalimutan.

I drifted away bago pa matapos ang kanta... I felt energized when the alarm set off. I checked the time in my wrist watch and it was just right on time to check the progress of the preparation for the event. I stood up and made my way out the garden.
