Chapter 4The Desert Fenn Walking was more difficult in the night. Watching where one put one’s feet was harder. That was offset by the pleasure of not marching under the hot sun. It was a moonlit night, which helped. Will Grant seemed to know what they were doing here in the desert at night and Fenn wanted to ask them how, when the Will Grant they had got to know in London was the epitome of urban sophistication.
