Chapter 2The Desert Fenn Keren and Will were both safe. That was Fenn’s first thought once the nausea from crossing the shimmer dissipated. Keren was dazed, probably more from the drugs than anything else; but Will seemed to be fine now he’d finished vomiting. Fenn sent a brief thanks to the Graces that they were all together—Will had held tight to both of them as they’d pulled Fenn and Keren into the shimmer, unlike when they’d left London.
