No matter what Colton said, guilt took over as she looked on in horror at Parry's lifeless body. He was just a kid, and if he were to die she would feel ashamed to show her face. Colton pulled up a chair next to her and gazed upon her as she watched on. The terrified look on her face reminded him of how he felt at the time of Alana's death and the guilt he has been feeling every day for the last year. What happened to Parry wasn't her fault and neither was Alana's death his fault. It all just sort of clicked in his head and he felt a huge weight lift off his shoulders.
