After having some toast and making herself another coffee, she decided it was time for her to return to the pack house.
"Tessa, do you have Colton's phone number?"
"Of course," she smiled, knowing her work here is done.
Tessa walks over to a drawer in the kitchen and pulls out an address book before sitting down next to Esme. Turning the pages looking for C, she finally stops on Colton's name, then pushes the book towards Esme, who finds it completely odd that she didn't just get out her mobile phone and get it that way.
"Thanks," She says, then taps the number into her phone. Placing the phone to her ear, her stomach churns, her throat goes dry and her heart beats fast in her chest. When he eventually answers, her spine tingles at the sound of his voice.
"Colton? It's Esme. I....."
