A breeder, Never.

I woke up to a splitting headache, lying on something hard and rough, and made my ribcage hurt. I pulled myself up and narrowed my eyes at the darkroom where I was kept with iron bars and a small window, that was far from my reach. I exhaled, my throat felt sore and bitter. Where am I? I touched my head, the bleeding had stopped and there was a bandage around it. My ankle was sprained as well. I sighed and leaned my back against the wall. “You are awake?” The strident voice made me snap my head in the direction of the iron door. Jeema. She scoffed and folded her hands. “You thought you could escape, it seems stupidity runs in your family.” She giggled and placed a hand over her mouth. I jerked up from the ground and held onto the bars. “Where is my mother!” I screamed in her face. “...and...and my father, where are they?” She shrugs with a smug face. “Nobody wants an outcast in the pack, and you will be gone, and become a breeder to the Alpha of Dark Pack. My dad always makes the right decision for his pack, we get rid of bad blood.” She laughed. I clenched my fist at my side, glaring at her. “Do you know what will become of you, you’ll be a breeder to him and thrown into the dungeon to spend the rest of your life!” She smirked and moved closer to the door. “How dare you challenge me, when you are nothing?” She glared at me. ”Oh poor Aria. You should know your class, you lowly witch. And so you know, he’s not as young and sexy as Kelvinn but an old man!” She laughed as if everything amused her. “Cat got your tongue?” “I will make you pay.” I gritted out and looked away from her and touched the necklace on my neck. I blinked my eyes rapidly because I did not want to cry in front of her. “I would love to watch you try.” She sneered and hurled a dress at me. “Get dressed in that.” She hissed. “Do that immediately.” She snapped her fingers. I slid back to the ground and buried my head in between. “Don’t keep me waiting, Aria, I’m here to make sure you don’t escape. So get dressed.” I lifted my head and stared at the dress in my hands. It was a white plain dress, with a strap hand. Why should I wear this? “Do I have to wear this?” “Do I need to explain everything to you, do as you are asked!” She scolded. I don’t want to get into more trouble with Alpha Argus. I was caught last night, and taken back to the pack, the escape plan failed. I undress. Taking the jeans and stripping myself naked. “What’s that mark on your neck?” I quickly covered it with my hair and put on the white dress, it was clingy to my body and made me feel uncomfortable. “It’s a birthmark.” I rolled my eyes at her curiosity. “Get out.” She urged when I was done dressing. A guard opened the door, I nodded obediently and came out of the small room that I was locked in. “Don’t even think of escaping, the Alpha King is here to take you away.” He shut the door behind me. Jeema was already walking ahead of us, she said nothing and was anxiously biting her nails. I waited for him to take the lead. He met with me, with a smirk on his face, and placed a veil on my head and my face was covered. “Come with me.” He chuckled amusingly and led the way. Jeema was nowhere to be seen by then. ‘Aria, don’t give up.’ For my parents, and nothing else, I had to hold on and take in everything they threw at me because I must find them and make Argus pay for everything. I blinked the tears away from my eyes and followed the guard. “There she is.” Argus stood up from the chair and pointed a finger at me. I lifted my eyes and caught the sight of a man, signing down on a paper. He dropped the pen on his hand and turned, his piercing blue eyes stared at me for a moment. Then, he stood tall, his facial features were especially defined with dark hair that was slightly tousled. He wore a simple black pantsuit and black sleeves. I was dressed with a veil meeting my new master, a ruthless stranger and a dangerous man that I had only heard about. Everyone cast their eyes on the floor and their neck slightly turned downward, this was just a common submission with wolves. The only occasion wolves act that way is when the Alpha King is here. Even Argus has his head bowed. He took a long stride towards me, the aura radiating from him reeks of authority, his movements were graceful and swift, faster than any wolf I have seen. He was standing in front of me. That was when the realization sank in, he was the Alpha of Dark Pack. The Alpha King. I lost my sense of balance and almost fell, but his hand gripped my wrist and pulled me back to my feet. He let go and acted as if he never touched me. His touch, made me feel strange, in a way I couldn’t describe but I wasn’t comfortable with it. He stood facing me, and it felt as if I couldn’t breathe. My chest felt tight and I swallowed an invisible lump down my throat. He touched the veil and lifted it from my face, I averted my gaze and stared at his shoes instead. I remembered I saw a long leg like this, last night before everything went black. He took the veil off. “Look at me.” He ordered and traced his finger down my jawline, he moved my head upward and made me stare at him. I could see the faint red glow behind his eyes but I couldn’t tell what he was thinking, with such a stoic face. “What’s your name?” His voice was cold and made me tremble under the sound. “A-Aria.” I sputters. He scoffed and took his finger off my jaw. “I believe I have delivered as you requested,” Argus grinned and moved to stand at his side. “She is too thin.” His eyes left my face and he settled to watch Argus. “I paid more for this, Argus.” Did he pay? Did he give Argus money as Argus said, that he was willing to pay? Where is the money? Did he take them all for himself? Then, what about my parents? What about my father? “Where is my father?” I took a bold step to ask him, Alpha Argus with a sly smile replied with a slight shake of his head. “What’s that supposed to mean?” “You did not tell her?” The Alpha King seemed angry at Argus now, and he looked a bit nervous. “You are to cut ties with everyone you know in Sliverfang Pack even your parents. You are starting a new life in Dark Pack.” The man who was standing beside me whispered. What kind of life? I was too scared to ask, my knees were like jelly and I could drop down anytime. I stared at the men in the living room in the pack house, Alpha Argus whispering to the Alpha King. He wasn’t left out in what happened to my parents, the Alpha King knew. He was part of all of these. “Hope she’s aware of everything that’s going to happen else you will pay for it with your life and that of your pack. I would not spare anyone.” He threatened. Argus bowed his head and kept his hands at his sides, he glanced at me with a scowl on his face. I glared at him, veins prodding in my neck. I don’t care about what happened to Argus or the pack. I will never be a breeder to the Alpha King.
