“I can’t take it off...” I said to Theodore when he noticed my reluctance, he dropped his hand to his side and smiled.
“Is there a reason for it?” He asked.
“I was warned never to take them off, and it’s the last thing I got from my father before we were separated. It is something I cherish.” I touched them with a sad smile on my face. I did not want to disobey his words and take them off when he clearly warned me not to.
Theodore nodded curtly.
“If you need anything don’t forget to ring the bell.”
“I will do that.” I took my fingers away from the necklace and let it rest on my chest. I don’t think I would need anything, I just want to lay here for a long time.
“Do I have an appointment with Elisa?”
Theodore rubbed his hands on his jaw as if he was in a deep thought.
