CHAPTER 6

valerius directly drove to where their main office was , he straightly ran towards the conference room where he knew the rest of his brothers were .

Nobody in the building dared to stop him because they very well knew who he was and what the consequences would be to stop him , even though the receptionist knew that a very important meeting was going on , she didn't dare to stop the young master from going , he might seem innocent and kind but the fact that he has the martinez blood in him couldn't be ignored . he was the mixture of his brothers and their dad.

if he wants he could be intimidating like his dad and his eldest brother vincent , was intelligent like rafael , scary as david , kind and caring like riccardo , playful like lucian and doesn't give a damn to anybody like livio .

He didn't bother to knock and entered , the meeting was going on and everyone's head snapped towards the panting boy who was trying to catch his breathing back to normal , Vincent's cold eyes met his , Rafael looked concerned because he knew that until and unless there was an emergency valerius would never show up like this but david looked angry , an important meeting was going on but because of him it was ruined now .

Valerius eyes roamed in search for his dad but disappointment embraced his face when he realized that for some important issue he had to leave yesterday .

"What are u doing here ,did u bunk the school val ." David asked ,his eyes throwing draggers at him .

"Vince i need to tell u something " valerius blurted out ignoring the question of his elder brother who was annoyed at his disobedience .

"Val, we'll talk later" vincent refused to listen to his youngest brother's issues .

"No, its an emergency" valerius replied stubbornly rooted to his place.

"Can't it wait " rafael asked keeping his emotions at bay , he didn't want the people sitting in the same room to know how much of a softy he was for his younger brothers , even though they don't spend much time together but he has been looking after him and his younger brothers like a mother .

"no , it's really really important " valerius emphasized , he couldn't tell them that it was about their sister in front of strangers who might f**k the s**t up .

Vincent looked at his younger brother and then ran his cold eyes at the one who was presenting the presentation, sweat beads formed on his forehead as he visibly gulped in terror .

"we can continue this some other day ,sir" the man said

"no need , i liked the project , you can go and sign the contract , my manager will explain you all the terms and conditions " a shaky smile formed on his terrified face .

"thankyou Mr. Martinez , we won't disappoint you" the man said

"you better not" david replied in a cold voice that had a clear threat laced with it .

The men scurried away like a mouse who was being chased by a bunch of wild hungry cats .

"speak" vincent ordered .

"It's about nevaeh" the name was enough for the brothers to freeze for a moment . their breathe hitched as they felt something stabbing their heart , was this some kind of joke or prank .

"Val, i hope this is not any prank by lucian through you " rafael's voice was stern , though he knew that his brother was not the one to lie but this was about nevaeh and he would beat the s**t out of him if he was joking .

"i swear rafe , i am not lying , i really saw her today at school even luce and liv are sure that it's her" valerius replied confidently yet annoyance was clear in his voice , he was not someone who would go and joke around like that not when he knew it was as important meeting going on and not at all if it was related to his twin sister , didn't they know how incomplete he felt without her . how could they think that he was trying to fool them .

"where are luce and liv" vincent asked as he calmed himself .

"they have gone after her , by now they must have located her house as well " valerius said .

"Rafe ,call liv and ask them where they are, take some men with you ." vincent ordered his younger brother , he couldn't risk their lives , it could be a trap and that girl who valerius thinks is nevaeh can be an imposter too .

Rafe nodded and left.

"Dave go to the school and gather her information , val you go with dave .."Val and dave both left for the school , following their eldest brother's order without any question .

R I C C A R D O

I was in the hospital cafeteria when i got my eldest brother's vincent call , he , rafe and dave were into dad's business even though all of us were in mafia but our legal profession were different , vincent and rafe handled dad's business ,even though dave is a professional boxer , he still helped dad and my elder brothers with the business , my younger brothers are still in highschool tho ,while i am a resident doctor specializing in neurology.

"yeah vince" i picked up the call and he just said two words and hung up before i could speak anything

"home.now" either i was in some trouble or there was really some huge problem else vince would never call me in the middle of his and mine work , i wonder what it could be .

"hey Ry, i'll have to go home right now..see you tomorrow " i told my friend and left without waiting for the response .

"Hey " i reached home and saw everyone tensed sitting on the couch in our living room , what happened to them , all of them were tensed at the same except for vincent who had the best poker face , noone could tell what was going on in his devil mind .

"what happened" i asked vince

"i want you to do a DNA test and i don't want anyone to know about it" wait DNA ..is he having a baby ..or some w***e is trying to trap him ...but what if it's his baby , omg i am going to become an uncle .

"I am going to become an uncle ..you are having a baby , omg we'll be having a baby in this house" as soon as my words left luce had thrown up the juice he was drinking while the rest of my brothers were glaring at me and vince ,well i think i am now on the top of his list . HIT LIST.

"are you done" vince asked making my heart jump like a basket ball , damn why is he so scary , can't he act like my brother for god sake .

"y-yeah" i cleared my throat to not show how scared i was, even though the way dave and liv were smirking, i knew they knew my condition .

"it's ...nevaeh" that took my attention and i was still like a dead body for a minute atleast .
