Sapphire               “Sweet!”             Did I mention his drunken voice was lace with so much mockery? I closed my eyes, trying to calm my nerves down before walking towards Sky. He was grinning at me, one foot on the bench, the other on the ground and was holding a bottle. This time, it was beer. Two buttons of his white shirt were opened, sleeves rolled up to his elbows. As I got closer, I had noticed that he was really drunk. His eyes were teary and his face was flushed.             “Jeez. You’re a mess.” I whispered, attempting to take the beer from him.     His eyes widened and he shook his head as he moved the bottle away from me. “No, no.” And just laughed. There wasn’t anything funny at all.     I sighed. I just wanted to go home and get some sleep.     Then, go home
