“Dad, don’t overdo it. Let them help you dress,” Pamela told her father as his arms flailed to prevent the shirt from being put on him. “They’re only looking out for you. You should know how the customs are here.”
“I can dress myself. I don’t need any help,” he adamantly insisted. “I’m stronger now."
When Gavin finally saw his daughter cross-armed and embarrassed, he relented even if it was only reluctantly. He didn’t want to make a scene although it was too late.
