Somewhat elated from the festivities yet exhausted after the long flight, Daniel was escorted to his suite in another part of the Regal Wisteria New Delhi resort with a view of Connaught Place, the financial center of New Delhi. Its inner circle housed a lush park. Once Daniel was in the suite and could look out from the veranda toward Connaught Place, he could only see a glimmer of the shops and nightlife.
