Chapter 9

Kevin stops the vehicle and looks at me. "Were are we going?"

"I was thinking Paul's pack. The pack I was found at. Has my brother gotten his claws into Paul?"

"No. Paul was calling for several weeks after your return but then he stopped. He wouldn't even take Jarred's calls."

"To Paul's pack we go. Well maybe the outskirts and a hotel. Tyler maybe you should contact your alpha."

"I already have through my mental link." 

"Awesome. Lets go." 

As we drove I looked at the little boy next to me. He had sandy blond hair and was a spitting image of kevin. I know kev and i are no longer mates but I'm still jealous that Shelley had him and had his pup. It should have been me. Releasing the breath I was holding, I closed my eyes. 

Next thing I know I'm waking up in a bed and someone is holding me. What the f**k. I slowly turn around and it's Paul. I quickly get out of bed waking Paul. "Lil what's wrong. Come back to bed?"

"No. You let me go Paul. I came here for help, not a relationship. I need to stop my brother."

"Lilly you are my mate and I made a mistake letting you go. Please love, give me another chance."

"No. I was locked up in a dungeon, beat, hardly fed and alone until Tyler came. All you had to do was be my mate. To cherish and love"

"I was afraid Lilly. You were dead and your brother scared me. I'm weak and I wanted you back. I need you."

"To late . You are just like the rest. Why wouldn't you reject me to. You might not have broken our bond but you broke my heart even more."

"I'm sorry Lil and I'll make it up to you. I will earn your forgiveness."

"We will see. I need to know what is going on with my brother and I need to figure out how to stop him."

"Ok Lilly. What do you want to do?" he said running his hands over his face. 

"I need to know what the stone of the luna is, who exactly my brother is working with and I need to contact the moon goddess. We need to gather more wolves to help defeat my brother and his army. Training needs to happen. I want a meeting with kev, Tyler, your beta and you. We need to get a plan together."

"Ok Lilly. It's 7am. Go shower while I find you some clothes, I'll get ready and we will have breakfast. Then we will all meet up in my office. Sounds good?"

"Yes." 

-The office- 

I sat at the edge of Paul's desk looking at all four men. Paul had given me jean shorts and a tank top to wear. I'm much thinner in size than the last time I was here and he hates it. He keeps handing me food but I'm not hungry. 

"Tyler is your alpha on his way here?"

"Yes Lilly along with two other packs your brother doesn't know about." 

"Good."

"Hank when we are done here please advise the pack of company coming and that we need space for everyone." Paul said to his beta. Hank grunted and shook his head yes. 

"Now I need to know why my brother wants the stone of the luna and who he is conspiring with."

"Well legend has it that if a wolf and a witch mate and shed blood onto the stone then it will summon the power of the moon goddess. If they take the power of the moon goddess then they will have power over all supernatural creatures. They can even kill the goddess." Paul says.

"Why would a stone like this be made?" I asked. 

"I'm not the only God or goddess out there children. Many legends of God's are real. Different names but the same God. I created the wolves and when I did the stone appeared. I appointed the royal family to protect it. Lilly you are to lead alongside the royals and when this over you are to hide the stone. If my power is taken the world will no longer exist, they will destroy it."

"How do we defeat my brother and those who stand with him?"

"Lilly I gave you Talia. I created Talia with her own abilities. You both must learn how to use your powers. You are very powerful child." She rubs her hand together. "I have brought you some ancient books. They will disappear once you no longer need them. I also need you to train the packs how to fight. The way I taught you. I will be here daily helping you learn how to use your powers and all the packs your brother has yet to claim have been summoned here."

"Thank you." I say to the moon goddess. 

She nodes her head. "I will be back in two days. You must prepare for the packs. You are not alone." Then she disappears. 

"Wow." Tyler says. 

"Ya you can say that again." Kevin says.

"You heard the lady. Let's get this show on the road. Paul and Hank I want you both to work on the camp. Food, shelter, security and all that. Kevin you were close to my brother. I need you to make a list of who my brother is working with and what packs have joined him. Tyler you and I will begin to spar. I want you to teach everyone what I teach you and anything else you have to teach them. Let's get this show on the road. We have evil to vanquish."
