When she caught a glimpse of the time on the screen of her mobile, Melissa was shocked to see that she had spent half an hour answering the reporter’s questions. It was a long time, even longer since she had not intended answering a single question.
She was annoyed with herself. Despite not being able to remember any of the answers she had given, she was sure what she had said would not be approved of by Inspector Martins when she heard them. Whether Martins would disapprove more of the answers themselves, or the fact that she had allowed herself to be interviewed without seeking approval from a senior officer was something she was not so sure about.
