CHAPTER 22THE FISHING TRIP Craig tapped lightly on Larry’s office door. Then, without waiting for a reply, he stuck his head inside the office. Cigarette smoke was rising from an ashtray, but the room was empty. Rather than wait, he decided to buck protocol and go straight to Mr. Ellis. As he knocked, he heard both of them talking. “Enter!” Mr. Ellis said. Craig slipped in, looked at both men, and said, “It’s happening this week.” Larry looked up. “When will you know?” “The dealer will make contact by radio. Darius has decided to stay in Conakry and come with the first shipment just to see how things will go.
