You wanna be yourself. But you just can’t because you’re fat. It really sucks to be someone whose size is above the average normal body. Waist don’t have any curves, big round arms and legs, fluffy cheeks and a tummy you would always notice. It’s really hard to pick good clothes to wear because it may not appear good on you or it won’t make you comfortable. People keep on looking at you and they seem to think something funny about you just because you’re fat. You’re one of the subjects of bullying and people always make fun of you. Sometimes you think that the world has been so cruel to you because you are not like those girls who keep on eating and yet they stay slim and perfect. Whenever you look in front of the mirror, you see that girl who is too wide to even fit in the mirror. It’s disgusting and disappointing that even how hard you try, you can’t just be like anybody else who are physically fit, whose body are almost perfect and waistlines so slim that they can flaunt it in public without disgusting anyone. As for your body, all you can see are signs of layering fats and stretch marks. You are too heavy to even jog or even tie your shoe laces. And because you are so depressed with the way you look, all you could do is eat more and add up the fats that build your body. And you decided to change. But the question is, is it really worth it? Forcing yourself not to eat for days, even choking yourself up to throw up all the foods you’ve eaten for the day’s meals. Being satisfied with just a piece of bread or just a single biscuit and just drowning yourself with water and slimming pills. Is it really worth it? Starving yourself inside your room as you look at yourself in the mirror and smiling as the layers of fats started to fade away. Being happy even if your immune system seems to be weak because of weeks of hunger. Is it really worth it to show people that you are not the same old fat girl who’s shy enough to stand up to people just because she’s overweight? That that girl is gone, gone with those fats that she have back then? Is it really worth it to be someone else for the sake of physically beauty and attention of others? I don’t know. Maybe, changing yourself to be someone better is worth it, but as long as you know that you are a good person, even how fat you are, people will love and accept you for who you are. Beauty is not measured through your body, because it is seen on how you show people the real you. Go out. Feel free. Face the mirror and let everyone see the beauty you beholds. You’re beautiful and nobody can ever change that. You’re beautiful.. Yes, You are.. In this life, you always want to find someone. That someone who’s gonna be there for you even if everybody leaves. That someone who’s never gonna hurt you. That someone who’s never gonna judge you no matter what you did in your past. That someone who’s gonna save you from the loneliness, pain and heartache. Life has slowly become a journey to find that someone you have no idea ever existed. All you have is that hope that there is always that someone who is meant for everyone and you want to find the one who is meant for you. You want to believe that when you finally do, you would have a chance to run away from here with your very own hero. But you have to face the fact that you are all alone in this life. Yes, you have friends and family but they have their own battles to fight for. You shouldn’t spend your life searching for someone who would save you from everything and everyone else. You shouldn’t just wait for someone to come for you just so you would be better. You shouldn’t just depend your life on someone you are not sure would come. You’ve got to be your own hero. You have to be strong for yourself. You have to do all the things that you should do in your life. You have to save yourself from all the things that could ever harm you. You don’t need anyone. You just have to have the courage to fight for what you want in your life. And maybe, while you are becoming your own hero, someone would walk in to your life to make you even stronger. Someone would come to make everything better. If you become your own hero, maybe, another hero would come to really save you and be there for you to make everything alright. You’ve got to be your own hero. ?MahikaNiAyana
