CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE Beams wasn’t sure what happened. One moment, he was clutching Bolt’s hand, trying not to get sucked into the portal which the Dread God had summoned. The next, he let go and passed through the portal and found himself falling, for a brief moment, through an endless void of strange colors and textures that he knew existed in no universe.
