The bracelet moved away by itself a few centimeters, dragging on the floor. Bella almost screamed as she jumped backwards, perplexed at what she had just seen.
She pulled out a back scrubber from beside her, gently using it to poke the bracelet and see what would happen. When it didn't move, she wondered whether it was her imagination. A bracelet can't move.
But, there's the person that gave it to her.
But a bracelet can't just move. Gathering herself, she moved forward and picked it up from the floor, staring at it deeply in her hands. The stones do seem...Rare and extremely beautiful, but that was it. She even put it close to her ear to listen to any sound coming from it, but heard nothing.
With everything that had happened today and the headache and dizziness that still lingered from the choking, and ancient weapons, and surgery talk...she concluded it was just her eyes Messing with her. But, she couldn't completely convince herself so to be on the safer side, she took the bracelet and covered it up with a small empty flower vase sitting outside.
Now even if it ' Moved', there's nothing to worry about.
Then, she was off to see Jess and her son.
They were having dinner when she arrived. She joined them at the dining room, hugged her son and ruffled Jess's hair a bit. She didn't look so interested in the vegetables in front of her, and just kept poking the fork on the leaves tirelessly.
"What happened? Why aren't you eating? " Bella asked, watching her as she almost began to jab the plate with her fork.
"I'm sick and tired of veggies. I eat them almost all the time! "
Well, even Bella looked a bit taken aback.it was the first time in so long Jess was complaining about anything. Guess it's really getting tiring and she can't keep holding it in.
" Gimme veggies! " Dave Said, swinging his small legs.
"No, she has to try eat her veggies. Or she might miss out on the big news" Isabella replied to her son, trying to taunt Jess.
"What news? " Jess inquired, her big eyes popping further open.
Isabella began stroking her son's hair softly, not minding her sister, "The key to unlocking the information from me is to finish her veggies, but she says she's sick of them. I guess I'll just have to return back without saying... "
" Fine, I'm eating I'm eating my veggies!!" She grumbled, and began stuffing her face with it.
" Careful. Take your time I'm not going anywhere" Bella advised, watching her as she struggled to finish the food in front of her. Both kids were done in less than ten minutes, and their attention was now solemnly on the woman who was looking at them with amusement.
" We are listening" Jess dropped her fork.
"Well then, let's not get too excited for our own sakes " Bella said, directing the statement to Jess, who could only wait in anticipation, "but, Someone would be having her surgery as soon as possible "
" Who?" Dave looked clueless.
Jess on the other hand, jumped down from her seat with the ' Oh my God' face, " Are you serious?? " She squeaked in utter delight shimmering in her hazel eyes.
"Yep! I'm sorry it took this long though, but I will... "
Jess sprinted with everything she had, and jumped into her sister's arms, hugging her as tight as she could. Finally...! Finally...! Everything would...she would have her surgery, her sister finally made it possible!
Bella laughed softly, " You're welcome, silly! "
"Isa, oh Isa. I can't believe this. Finally, oh Isa! "
Bella found herself almost crying, but she held the tears back "Remember not to get too excited, and don't think too much about it. Be rest assured that im working on the date of the surgery, so just continue what you've been doing before, okay? "
" Thank you...!!"
Dave, who had also jumped down from his seat began tugging at both their shirts. When they looked down at him, he pouted his lips and spread his arms wide open, inviting them to also add him to the hug.
"This is Jess's moment " Bella said to him.
Jess laughed a bit, watching Dave frustratingly tapping his legs on the floor and his pout got pointier. He looked too adorable.
"Fine, come here already! " Both sister's said to him at the same time.

Ciara Clarkson was ready to set out on her new mission. She was currently in the den, the secret place deep inside the woods were the park gathered when needed, since they now lived amongst humans. Ciara wasn't like the other gammas chosen the Alpha himself, she was just an ordinary werewolf who was still rising, trying to break through the limits she had been stuck with. When it came to Alpha Adrian's pack, it was different from any other out there.
Standing at the very top was he himself, and serving directly under him where five powerful gammas, including her. She heard that the other four had been chosen specially by him, and even trained by him since they were young. They weren't your ordinary turned werewolves like her. Anyways, the five Gammas are known to be division leaders of the pack with about thirty betas under them.
In total, the Pack had about a hundred and fifty members, and plus the Alpha; a hundred and fifty one. She, the odd one amongst the powerful five had faced a lot of struggles, lots of hate from members, some envied her, and some said she may have Bewitched the Alpha into making her one of the five. The only ones that had her back all the time were her beta members, and she couldn't be any less satisfied with that.
Right now, She was heading out for her mission to keep an eye on a woman, Alexa Watson. From what she heard, she was once Adrian's stepsister but now he wants her for ' other' reasons...and some said she might be his mate. Ciara didn't know what to think about all that, she would only concentrate on her mission from now and nothing else.
She remembered the night Alpha Adrian had called her to the den to send her on this mission. He hardly ever spoke to her, the only gammas he spoke to was the twins, Dawn and Silva who were in charge of the first division and the duo were said to be the strongest of the five Gammas...She wasn't so sure about that since they haven't fought before.
He had called her specially into his private room, and while she told there with beads of sweat rolling down her face just with his presence, he told her what she had to do " Alexa. She lives with her brother here. Find her, keep a Stern eye on her. Befriend her if you have to "
His eyes darkened, and he stared into space, " If anyone unusual comes close to her, Report to me immediately!"
She would not disappoint him. This was an opportunity for her to prove herself, and she was confident that she would deliver spectacularly. She appeared out of the woods, her eyes firmly in the direction of the house the woman lived. It was just six in the morning, and the sky was just beginning to get bright and the wind was a wild, making her brown hair run all over her face. She pulled out a band from her leather jacket and tied the hair backwards, before she set out to her direction.
Out in the street, she retracted most of her werewolf senses to make her seem more human Incase there was any strange person. It didn't take too long before she ran into one. It happened that she was about to round up a corner, hands buried in her jacket pocket...
No matter how much she had pulled back her senses, she should have been able to tell that someone was also coming. It was the first time she didn't notice the presence till she almost bumped into the figure.
She had to quickly sidestep so as to not cause an accident. Ciara cursed under her breath when she found her footing, and instantly snapped her head to look at whoever it was that had hidden his presence so perfectly.
It definitely wasn't human.
It was a man, and he was putting on the same leather jacket as her. He seemed to have dyed his hair white, and his face...She sucked in a sharp breath. Woah! Where did he get that stunning fave from? Is he from heaven? But, the pale face told her everything she needed to know.
He was a vampire.
"Watch where you're going, little wolfy " he groaned deeply, sparing her a glance with a smirk lingering on his lips.
" Don't tell me what to do, You creepy looking copycat!" She looked at his jacket once again, before she whipped her head and continued in her direction. Little foxy? Ha! Let's see him call her that again once she jumps on his little head and tears him apart.
Getting to her destination, she settled under a tree just close to the house where she could listen closely to the voices coming from the house.
Not too long after the sun was completely out, she heard a phone ring coming from the house and a feminine groan followed, then a yawn...and a bit of ruffling...then the ringing stopped and words followed.
"Breakfast? This morning? " The woman's voice was saying. She seemed to be making a phone call, and the lady from the other side of the phone replied, "Common, I'm sorry I didn't Inform you earlier, we actually decided since last afternoon "
" Breakfast??" She asked again, yawning sleepily.
" Just breakfast. It's been a while we got together Alexa"
" Fine. Text me the address and time"
Alexa then stood up from the bed and headed for the bathroom, rubbing her eyes in an attempt to make the sleep go away. It seems she didn't quite understand the call because in the next five seconds, Ciara heard her whispering loudly in the bathroom, her voice filled with Horror.
"Breakfast? With her friends?? Right now..??! And I said yes?? "
" Yes you did" Ciara replied to herself.
" What do I do...what do I do??!"
"You agreed, so you have to make it. Or come up with an excuse not to go"
" Yes yes...! I'll come up with an excuse!" Ciara heard her beaming.
" Now what excuse would that be?"
"I'm gonna feign being sick. I'll just tell them that I was busy yesterday, and I'm having a little headache. I am having a headache actually " Ciara heard her giggling.
" Great. Now just stay home all day so I don't have to keep stalking you" Ciara mumbled, resting her head on the bark of the tree.
" Stalking who?" Isabella asked from the bathroom.
