The visit back at Virginia was both refreshing but at the same time troubling. We spent two days at a resort and I had some girl time with Mom. I told her everything about Brianna not being my friend anymore. She was sad and angry at the same time over what happened – sad that we had to end our friendship over jealousy and angry because Brianna should know better. She was even angrier when I told her about the pushing incident. She was glad though Dane was there. Mom had also expressed pity towards Brianna’s parents, especially to Aunt Beth.
“Tsk. I don’t know what happened to Brianna, but when I see her around she was still the same charming and bubbly girl. I visited them weeks ago and she was very caring towards her mom.”
