I mildly pissed Dane off for not hiring anyone to tour us around. But I didn’t see anything wrong with me driving. Mom let me borrow her car and rode with Dad on her way to the office.
“Babe, it’s okay.” I was actually enjoying the ride. It had been a while since I had been behind the wheel. For a change, I was in charge of the drive.
