***Evelina’s POV *** Stepping out of the limo, my eyes soaked in the beautiful city around me. All around me was a fusion of modern minimalism and medieval grandeur. I’d travelled extensively before. But I’d never been to Spain. And I’d never seen a city quite like Barcelona. The beautiful skyline, adorned with the spires of the Sagrada Família reaching towards the sky, took my breath away. The undulating lines that mimicked the gentle waves of the sea of Casa Batllo called to me when we’d passed it on our way. It was a building adorned with a mosaic of broken ceramic tiles, a technique known as trencadís, which created a vibrant, shimmering surface.
