Chapter 5Walking into the front of Madam Scarlet’s shop, Dustin holds a file in one hand and holds on to Ronan’s arm with the other.
“Madam Scarlet, can we talk to you alone?” Dustin asks when they reach the counter.
“Of course, boys. Come into the back.” Madam Scarlet lets them through the counter and takes them into her kitchen in the back of the store. She offers them something to drink, but they both say no. They just want to give Scarlet the news and then go and get some rest.
“This file is for you. Ronan had someone at his agency look, and it turns out your son was easy to find,” Dustin says, putting the file on the table.
