Nathan dragged Olivia outside from the mansion, and she sobbed and begged him, "Please, sir, don't throw me out. I don't have anywhere to go. Please, Nathan..."
Olivia cried, and Nathan replied, "I'm sorry, small madam, but I cannot help you now. You have to leave this house."
Nathan was also worried as he didn't know what Olivia had done.
He had seen her when she returned home and ran back speedily into the house, and now she was sobbing heavily while Mrs. Gina ordered him to throw her outside.
Olivia begged, "Please don't throw me out. This is my father's house. I don't have anywhere else to go. Please."
Nathan let go of Olivia's hands and raked his short black hair in frustration.
He was a dark-skinned man and of average height.
Mrs. Gina stepped out from the mansion and called out, "Nathan! Is that witch still outside?"
Nathan stared at Olivia in fear and pulled the gate open as he replied, "No, madam. I have sent her outside."
Nathan wasn't yet ready to lose his job, and he opened the gate and told Olivia to leave.
Mia stepped out from the mansion and followed her mother as they walked toward the gate.
Mrs. Gina asked, "Then who am I seeing there at the gate, still standing with you, Nathan? I said throw her outside now!"
Mrs. Gina stepped down from the mansion and rushed to the gate.
She met Olivia and Nathan at the gate, and she used both hands to push Olivia out of the house completely, saying, "Get out! And don’t let me see you here again. Else, I will kill you myself for daring to poison my daughter and me. Leave!"
Nathan frustratingly stood in silence, watching them.
Tears flooded Olivia's eyes as she knelt and begged her stepmother, "Please, ma, I don't have anywhere else to go. You cannot throw me out tonight. It's late..."
Olivia cried, even as she knew the estate was heavily guarded with security men. She was still scared of the bad boys lurking around, who might violate her privacy.
Mrs. Gina asked, "And how is that my concern? Why didn't you think of the bad boys living around when you dared to poison my daughter and me? Nathan!" Mrs. Gina called.
Nathan immediately appeared by her side. "Yes, madam."
Mrs. Gina said, "Lock this gate back, and if I dare to see her inside this compound again, I will arrest both of you and jail you for attempting to kill my daughter and me. Lock this gate now!"
Nathan immediately shut the gate in Olivia's face. She stood up from the ground and rushed to the gate, banging on it heavily, screaming, "Nathan! Open this gate!! Please!... don’t lock me out! No!"
Olivia sobbed as she banged heavily on the gate, but Nathan had already locked it from within.
Mrs. Gina said, "Nonsense! Nathan, don't ever open this gate for her again or let her into this compound again! Is that understood?"
Nathan shakily replied, "Yes, madam!"
Nathan was a 35-year-old black man and really needed his job as a gateman to take care of his family and new wife at home. He couldn't risk losing his job, even though he pitied Olivia.
He had a pregnant wife at home with two kids, and he sighed and walked back to the gatehouse while Mrs. Gina and Mia went back into the mansion.
Mia asked her mother, "Mom, what are we going to eat tonight?"
Mia knew that she was the one who had ruined the soup by adding too much salt to the delicious dish that Olivia had prepared.
She knew that her mother wouldn't question her if what Olivia had said was true, as her mother always picked her side and had flogged Olivia mercilessly.
Mrs. Gina scolded, "Why did you spoil the soup? I know Olivia didn't add too much salt into that soup. Do you know how much the soup ingredients cost in the market now?"
Mia frowned as she hadn't expected that her mother would scold her.
Mrs. Gina said, "You will be the one cooking from today onwards as your punishment. Now follow me into the kitchen. You won’t waste all the meat in that soup that Olivia cooked. After you've finished removing all the meats one by one from the soup pot, then you will wash it thoroughly and re-cook it tonight. Silly girl."
Mia frowned as she followed her mother back into the kitchen.
Upon entering the kitchen, Mrs. Gina felt slightly nervous for throwing Olivia out, as it was already 10 PM.
She knew that the estate security agents would question her the following day if they saw Olivia outside at that late hour, especially knowing that she threw Olivia out.
Mrs. Gina yelled, "Remove all the meats quickly!"
Mia shuddered in fear and began removing the cooked meat from the soup pot after washing her hands thoroughly earlier when she entered the kitchen with her mother.
Mrs. Gina stood aside and watched as Mia took out all the meats carefully until Mia was finished. She rewashed the meat and started cooking it for their dinner.

Olivia cried and banged on the gate of her late father's mansion heavily, but Nathan didn't pull the gate open for her.
She was still in her light blue gown, wearing it since morning.
She shivered as the cold night wind blew against her smooth, delicate skin, sending shivers down her spine.
Her eyes were already filled with hot tears, and she thought to approach the estate gate and report her stepmother to the security men standing there.
Olivia knew that even if she reported her stepmother to the estate security men, it wouldn't change her stepmother's wicked attitude toward her. She wrapped her arms around her chest as she walked toward the estate gate.
Olivia saw two men walking along the other side of the road, calling out to her.
She stared at them, watching as one of them crossed the road and called, "Hey, pretty lady, what's up with you?"
Olivia immediately ran away and took to her heels, even though she was barefoot. She ran as fast as her slim legs could carry her.
One of the two guys screamed after her, "Wait, pretty! Where are you running to?"
Olivia didn’t stop or turn back to look at them as she ran faster toward the estate gate, even as it remained far ahead, and it was already late at night.
She continued running and, seeing a red car approaching her, she slowed down, hoping to ask the driver for a ride to the estate gate.
Olivia believed that the car owner would be living inside the estate too and might be a good Samaritan.

Earlier, Justin Robert had gone to one of his favorite hangout places, a club in Lemonhill town, to have fun with the young ladies there, but none seemed to catch his attention.
He was annoyed at wasting so much time sitting handsomely and watching the strip-club ladies dance seductively around the pole.
Frustrated, he stood up and left the club, all the while thinking about the pretty young lady he had seen earlier in the afternoon, finally gathering the courage to approach her.
Justin had been admiring this lady for a long time, and his blood boiled at the thought of claiming her and making sweet love to her, but she had run away from him as if he were a beast.
Justin was angrier than ever.
He had seen many pretty young ladies before, and none had ever dared to reject him or his advances, but this particular lady had really insulted him and bruised his ego.
He was considered a bad guy, although he was polite at home, listening to all his parents' requests. Even though what his parents usually asked him to do wasn’t what he wanted, he still obeyed and took over his father's real estate business as their only child.
Justin had a few friends, including Jesse Andrew, who was his driver. Even though Jesse was far older than him and respected him, Justin still considered Jesse like an elder brother he never had and someone to confide in when he was upset.
As Justin stepped out from the strip club, he ordered Jesse, "Let's go home. I’m just bored today."
Jesse knew that whenever Justin expressed boredom, it meant that something was seriously troubling his mind.
Jesse then asked, "What could be the problem, young master?"
Justin stopped and contemplated whether to tell Jesse the truth about what was troubling him and what his heart truly desired at that moment.
