“Wait Alpha, what happened after they disappeared?!” a younger wolf shouted. I laughed at his outburst, having heard the story several times now.
“Well, impatient one,” he chuckled, as well as the older wolves around. “I needed a breath before I continued.” He looked at the young wolf with an eyebrow raised and the wolf looked away shyly. He cleared his throat.
“As I was saying, one day they were gone. People looked for the Dark Moon pack and couldn’t find any trace of them. The pack lands grew wild and soon there was no memory of them ever existing. However, just to the west nestled in the mountains were two packs growing together as one, strong and peaceful.
