Present Day Ben’s POV Kaitlin is fidgeting like I have never seen, and her aura is full of nervous energy. I am trying to soothe her with my touch, but nothing seems to work. We arrive at the parking lot and Eaton finds two spots for both of us to park. We exit the car and Eaton asks us to let the two warriors take the lead. We wait until he gives us the “all clear” and it’s then I notice he has an earpiece on. “Easier when there are humans around.” He replied, catching my line of sight, and I nodded. I place my hand on Kaitlin’s back guiding her forwards. I need to touch her, but I am trying to respect that she doesn’t want anyone to know we are mated. She pulls away from me to walk beside Blayn whom she wraps her arm around. A sharp pain goes through me at the loss of her beside me.
