I didn’t sleep much thinking about what happened when I called Lance last night. The woman who answered the call introduced herself as his girlfriend. Her voice sounded familiar too. I didn’t call him again as I’m scared that the same girl might answer the call.
I kept moving around on the couch until I couldn’t take it anymore. I got up and checked on my mom. She’s sleeping very soundly so I got out of her room and took a walk.
I didn’t know where to go and aside from the occasional people I pass by, I don’t see a lot of people around. I ended up heading to the cafeteria to get some coffee. I decided to take a seat as I sipped my coffee little by little. I had my chin on my hands with my elbow propped on the table when Jerome sat in front of me.
