Ally's POV:

After I checked out my new amazing apartment, I returned to Santa Monica to help the guys move my things into the moving truck and said goodbye to my landlord and one of my neighbors who always greet me when I pass.

I loved my new apartment and it was very spacious and had a great view of that part of Los Angles.

Lance would be arriving in Los Angles soon, but we wouldn't be seeing each other until tonight. He'll be picking me up at my new apartment, thank goodness he didn't live far away.

"Enjoy your new apartment", one of the guys said after everything wad brought in.

"Thanks", I said and they all leave, I locked the door then turned to my many boxes. Great I'll be spending the next couple of hours unpacking and then take a shower.

4 hours later

"Nice apartment", Lance said when he entered my apartment.

"Yeah it's nice and I got a wide balcony as well", I led him to the left side of the living room and through the open glass door unto the wide balcony.

"Jacob definitely knows how to house hunt", he nodded, "and it perfectly suites you."

"Yeah I know, its a two bedroom apartment", I added.

"Well you can always invite your family over when you're ready, how did the doctor's appointment went this morning?"

"It went good, I'll have to wait about a week before I start showing symptoms", I shrugged.

"So they finish the whole process?" His eyes went to my stomach and my heart skipped a beat.

"Yeah", I said and shifted uncomfortably under his gaze.

"Let's get going", he cleared his throat.

We left my apartment and went to the parking lot, luckily there weren't any paparazzi around.

"What are you cooking for us?" I smiled over at Lance as he drove.

"It's already cooked, I wanted us to have a nice relaxing night and don't have to wait long for dinner to be prepared", he replied.

"Did you cook or?"

"I called my chef to cook for us, I was tired from my trip but don't worry you'll taste my cooking soon", he winked.

I smiled, "I can't wait, Jacob told me you were the better cook between the both of you."

"He's right", he grinned.

We arrived at his house five minutes later and he parked inside the garage and the door closed automatically.

"I thought you lived an apartment", I frowned.

"Nah, I like my own space", he shrugged and we got out, he led me through the door and we stepped into the kitchen area.

"Wow, nice", I admired the chandelier that was above the 8 seat dining table.

This house was a smile two story building.

"How many bedrooms?" I asked.

"Four and two bathrooms along with a backyard pool with a patio", he answered.

"That's cool, can I go check it out?" I asked.

He nodded and led me out of the kitchen area and to the back of the house where the huge pool was and wooden patio with a grill.

"I bet your family loves to come here to visit", I stated.

"Yeah especially during the holidays", he chuckled.

"Isn't Thanksgiving soon? What's your plan?"

"I would like to spend it with you if that's okay", he answered shyly.

"I'll like that", I nodded.

"Good, Jacob normally has a huge family dinner at his parents' place in Phoenix so I'm sure he'll invite you to go and I always tag along", he explained.

I nodded.

"Now let's go have dinner, I'm sure you're hungry."

"Dance with me", Lance said as he turned on the music and I laughed, we were relaxing outside on the patio, we finished dinner about twenty minutes ago.

He pulled me up from my seat and I giggled as he twirled me in time with the music. We danced for about ten minutes before we stopped and Lance lifted up my chin to look him in the eyes then he started to lean down.

"Wait", I said and pulled away, he sighed, "I'm sorry I-"

"No its not your fault, I recently got out of a relationship and-"

"I understand, we can take things slow", he said and kissed my hands, "although I really want to kiss you", he confessed.

"Just give me sometime, how does after Thanksgiving sound?"

He nodded, "whenever you're ready."

We sat down, "can I ask you something?" I inquired, "what is Jessica like?"

He sighed, "very demanding, she's a part time model and is a travel agent, right now she's in Europe and will be back in time for her wedding at the end of September next year", he explained.

"Do you think she'll cut down on all those traveling once she marries Jacob and starts having more kids?"

He shrugged, "who knows, but I know for a fact she wouldn't be happy that she'll be a stepmother unexpected as soon as she returns."

Now I was worried for my child, what if she treats him or her badly?

"Don't worry once she gets use the baby, I'm sure she'll turn out to be great stepmother although the baby will grow up calling her mom."

"Who will take care of the baby when they go on their honeymoon though? Surely they don't want to be changing diapers on their honeymoon", I frowned.

"Jacob's family will be more than happy to take care of the baby while they are away", he stated and I nodded.

At least him or her will be in good hands.

"What do you want to do now?" Lance asked.

"Movie?"

He nodded and we returned inside the house.

Doesn't he get lonely here sometimes?

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, "hello?" I yawned, my eyes half open.

"Don't tell me you're actually sleeping still?" My friend from college, Maya gasped.

"What time is it?"

"9 am, I'll be in Santa Monica today, maybe we can meet up", she said.

"What?"

I as fully awake now and realized that this wasn't my room I was in.

"I'll be there around 12:30 pm for the latest, should I come to your apartment or-?"

"Actually I moved to Los Angles."

"Yes! We can go the Hollywood sign, what is your address?"

I gave it to her and said I'll see her later. I haven't seen Maya since graduation and haven't talk to her in a while either, last time we spoke was in July and she got engaged.

I left the room and frowned, where was I? I looked down the stairs and realized that I was still at Lance's place. I guessed I fell asleep during the movie last night and Lance brought me up to a room.

"Glad to see you well rest, I made breakfast", Lance said when I got downstairs.

"Why didn't you wake me last night?" I asked as I took the plate from him.

"You looked so peaceful, I didn't want to interrupt it so I brought you upstairs", he answered.

"Thanks."

At least he didn't change me, I was in my clothes from yesterday.

"There are spare toothbrushes in the bathrooms, when you're done I'll drive you to your apartment so you can freshen up", he added.

"Thanks."

"Are you doing anything later?"

"Yeah, my friend from college will be coming we'll have a girls day", I nodded.

"That's good because I got some work to do so you mightn't here from me until tonight."

"That's okay."

"Good."

30 minutes later

"Bye, see you soon", Lance said and drove off.

I unlocked my apartment and entered, I decided to go take a swim in the pool so I changed into a bathing suit and left; going to the elevator. When I got there, there wasn't anyone there guess other residents had actually jobs unlike me.

I swam around in the water for the next hour then got out to get some water from the water bottle I brought with me.

"Hey, are you new here?" A guy asked and startled me, "sorry didn't meant to startle you", he chuckled and I turned around. He was hot, definitely got the Californian hot guy look with blonde hair, blue eyes and buff body.

"Y- yeah I am, just moved in yesterday", I stuttered a little.

He chuckled, "nice, my name is James."

"Ally", I answered.

"So Ally, do you like it around here so far?" He took off his shirt and I looked away.

"Yeah, its nice."

"Yeah it is, best part of living in the city is that everything is near you", he said and dived into the pool. I got to control myself, I am already interested in Lance, "where did you move from?" He asked when he emerged from under the water.

"Santa Monica."

"Oh nice, I love to go there for the beach and the ladies", he winked and I blushed.

"But I'm originally from Pennsylvania", I added.

"I'm from more the northern side of the states but moved to Los Angles to be closed to the set", he said.

"You're an actor?" I gasped.

"You can say that, I got some minor roles in a few movies so far but I want to have a lead role soon."

"What's your newest role?"

"A fighter in this epic action movie that will be release early next year."

"That's cool."

"Yeah it is", he nodded.
