“I searched your room but you weren’t there.” Caspian stated in a calm voice. “I need to talk to you.”
“Uhm.. sure.” Leah stuttered out, shyly walking towards him. Caspian turned to leave the room and Leah briefly glanced at Noah with a ‘what’s going on?’ kind of face.
To her disappointment, Noah shrugged and mouthed a ‘good luck’ to her. Leah turned back to Caspian and followed him out of the room to her own bedroom. The rooms were very close to each other but the awkward silence that played between Caspian and her made the distance feel excruciatingly long.
